This is a fun place. And cheap. The weekend was a crazy party which was great. But I thought Sunday and Monday might get a bit more quiet as I need to catch up on sleep. Nope, it was just as noisy and crazy. So stay here if you want a crazy party and meet some cool people. This is not a place for quiet relaxation and contemplation!

Party central

This is probably the most fun I've ever had in a hostel. I'm not going to get into the degree of mischief that we got into staying there, but it was extreme. I wish I wasn't turning 39 so I could keep staying there. A few cautions: If you want a restful travel experience, this isn't the place. If you want to meet a ton of fun guys and go out on the town, book a bed. Also, make sure they're REALLY clear on when you're arriving. Pad you schedule by a few hours. I showed up late and getting in created all kinds of drama. Because others have called it out... The bathrooms have been upgraded and they're awesome now. The rest of the hostel is whatever. It's kept SUPER clean by the one of the most cantankerous, dyspeptic queens I've ever met. It's called hospitality for a reason, man. Take a beat. Have a drink. Show a little conviviality. Watch Tales of the City and see how Mrs. Madrigal does it. Eye roll. Other than that, the place is ace. It's the most fun you can have for €25 a night. If you have a pulse and a personality, give it a whirl.

First and last time doing a hostel, don’t get me wrong nothing wrong with this hostel at all it’s just not my cup of tea. The bed was comfortable and rooms clean. It’s the whole sharing thing I didn’t like. Maybe it’s my age I would say go for it if you wanna give it a go but go with a clear mind. Overall nice place.

2 night stay

I was skeptical about booking this hostel as I had read the reviews below. My original plan was to stay in a hotel across the road like I did last time but I lost my card in Amsterdam so my booking was cancelled as they couldn’t confirm my card. 

So I booked this a week before and I’m so happy that I did. This was one of the best experiences of my life!! Before I begin; I’ll clarify once more;

THE WATER IS HOT!!!!!!!

The facilities are very nice. There’s a beautiful small kitchenette which has mugs, cups and stuff to make food if you want to. It’s very nice if you want to save money on food; there’s a local food store that sells really good food for a quarter of the price and there’s a spati (newsagent) that sells good food too and cheap beers.

There’s a two baths; a private one and a communal one. Both have hot water, clean toilets and mirrors. Do people use them for others things? Listen, you probably gay if you’re reading this, so you know what gay men are like. People will have sex anywhere. What I confirm is that this hoste is NOT a sex party; don’t expect people to be shagging in the hostel, in their beds or in the toilets at all times of the hour. That doesn’t happen! 

What made my experience the best was the people; it such a small hostel with 4 rooms that you feel like a family immediately. Especially when you arrive, someone will start talking to you and will immediately invite you out for the night time events. 

You are never alone but in a good way. You will laugh, you will smile and you have an experience like no other. Berlin is a beautiful city and it’s nice to experience it with others. And if the night event isn’t your taste, you can go somewhere else.

By the end of the week when everyone was leaving; I was so sad that they were going as I felt like I made a great group of friends and laughed so hard at the stuff that weren’t on.

THE WATER IS HOT!

In this place I had one of the most amazing experience of my whole life. I’m not much into hostel, but after choosing this place, I might have been wrong all of this time. It didn’t feel like a hostel at all, it felt like home, like family. From the first day I came in, I met a really cool bunch of guys, we hang out together, we went partying together, and when in the hostel, we were all talking for hours. Always together. This is the major thing about this place, you can make really good friends in a second if you behave well and politely. Of course you need to be a cool guy and be always respectful to others. 
The dorms are good, they have 2 toilets, both with showers, which one is private and one is shared. A big living room, where you can spend some time with the other guys. Kitchen is well equipped for coffees, teas and other stuff, which they offer for free. They’ve renovated the place from the pics that’s on here so it’s much much better now. 
The clean the whole place every day, and they do it properly. So no worries about it. The staff, when they are in, are really helpful with whatever you need.
This hostel made my stay in Berlin much better than what I thought it would have been, literally loved it!
