We stayed one night on our way to Italy, and booked just 30 minutes before arrival. This place is a gem! Very friendly staff, that immediately makes you feel welcome. The decor of the rooms are a bit oldfashioned, but the room was very clean, and the bathroom is modern. The location is perfect, a bit away from the busy Autobahn, in a rural setting with lovely views to the Lüneburger Heide. There is a lovely garden around the hotel, where you not only have beautiful flowers but also plenty of entertainment for children. There are a trampolin, fotbollgoals, a sandpit, etc etc. Our 8-year old was happy to play and have plenty of space to play after a whole day in the car. Dinner was lovely, and breakfast was perfect: small buffét but containing everything you would want or need to get a good start of your day. We enjoyed our stay so much, we booked and steayed a night on our way back home. I can recommend this place to couples, and individual travellers but mostly to families. I would most definitely stay again.
