Gasthof Inntalerhof

Just back from a fantastic winter holiday skiing in Fiss and stayed here with family. We were in three first floor rooms (which are ideal if you have young kids like us). Rooms are good sized & beds comfy. Hotel is well maintained and very clean, daily room cleaning was excellent. Breakfast is standard Austrian style, simple but good quality, evening meal was chosen from two choices the night before. The food really was excellent every night. The waiting staff are very friendly and helpful although basic German will help make your stay go well. Watch out for the local schnapps as it is very drinkable...prices at the bar are also very reasonable for pre and post dinner drinks. Bar shuts at about 9.30 roughly. The village of Tosens is very small however it has a small supermarket. It is about 20-30 minutes from the Fiss-Serfaus ski area in the morning (up 12 hairpin bends!). Plenty of parking outside the hotel as well. We really enjoyed staying here - the staff made you feel very welcome and the rooms were great. We found the travelling to and from Fiss to ski easy enough. Thoroughly recommend this hotel to any skiing families.
