Fresh Start Bed & Breakfast

Our party of three adults stayed two nights at the Fresh Start in the "room at the top". The room was spacious, clean, and furnished with lovely antiques. There was a walkout veranda with a stunning view of the MacDonald bridge. The house itself is elegantly Victorian, with gorgeous original features. Our hostess Sheila was considerate and accommodating and provided us each morning with an extensive, delicious breakfast full of different hot and cold options; you certainly won't leave hungry. In addition to Sheila, there was a friendly and talkative cat, Tigger, who is just as charming as the home itself! He was yet another delightful element to this wonderful bed and breakfast There is off street parking in the back of the B&B, and it is only about a 5-minute drive to the centre of downtown Halifax. The location, warmth, and elegance of this bed and breakfast make it a perfect option for travellers to Halifax; it is absolutely worth your visit!
