This was my first trip to Vegas, and think Flamingo was a pretty good choice. The location is really premium, right in the middle of the action. The views from hotel are absolutely excellent. The hotel has great view options: 1st the Strip view option and 2nd the attraction view option (showing the sphere and high rollers), and 3rd the habitat view. I don’t think you can really go wrong here with anyone of these. We had view of the strip and Bellagio fountains and top of Eiffel tower. Absolutely stunning day and of at night. The front desk staff was above and beyond excellent. Both on check-in and check-out. The room actually triumphed expectation. The executive 2 queen GO room was huge. It has lots of closet and drawer space. Bathroom had shower and tub too. The room and towels were clean, and best thing was the bed. The bed, pillows, and sheets were excellent. I actually slept like baby every single night, perhaps from all the walking or alcohol, but nevertheless excellent sleep from both of us. The swimming pool is a blast like a real party, I highly recommend visiting this pool. The Flamingo habitat actually rocks, we actually started each day visiting the Flamingo and other birds.
