Very nice small resort located right on beautiful Nungwi beach. Visited as a family with two children aged 13 and 10 years old and had a very spacious family room with 2 bedrooms. The location is great as it is on the beach but in a quieter area of Nungwi (there is an area with heavy thumping music all the time down the beach but Flame Tree is much calmer), but still very close to shops and restaurants. The pool area is a great (and calm) alternative to the beach (and is meticulously cleaned every day!). Always lots of sunbeds available at the beach or pool, so never a problem. We also booked a fishing/sunset cruise with the hotel which was much better priced than others. Margaret, Agnes, and Fatouma took great care of us and gave a much more personal touch than the big resort hotels. Nice little beach bar and the dinners have the most breathtaking view of the sunset. Highly recommended.
