Five Towns Inn - JFK Airport

My friend and I needed to stay overnight after we returned to the States from Scotland. She had no flight out to Indiana after we returned on May 14th, 2025 and a flight to Syracuse was too late for someone to pick me up around midnight, so we slept over and caught our perspective flights early in the morning on May 15th. We were shuttled from the airport to the hotel by a very rude driver that at first wasn't willing to help us with our luggage until my friend asked him if he was planning on helping load them in. With an eye roll and comment, "Where are your husbands?" to which my friend answered that she doesn't have one (but didn't elaborate that he was deceased). I said my husband was home. He did end up helping load them in and unloaded our suitcases when we reached the hotel. The rooms are very clean and the bed was comfy. In the morning, we got up and went down stairs before 6 am to find a free breakfast spread. Breakfast starts at 6 am, but they didn't mind that we helped ourselves early because our hotel shuttle was leaving at 6 am to bring us to the airport. Artie Levine was our shuttle driver. He was very friendly and personable. Can I say he went above and beyond the line of duty loading and unloading our suitcases without our asking him to help and making sure we got to our exact destination at the airport! He's a wonderful asset for the hotel shuttle service, unlikecthe other shuttle driver!
