We had tried to book at Hotel 3 Arcs in Besalu. How fortunate that they didn't answer their email or their phone and we ended up at Extempora. A beautiful setting out in the middle of the fields of Maia de Montcal, minutes from Besalu. The room was very comfortable and the hosts were delightful and very helpful. Breakfast was good. Price was reasonable.
