Emily's House Bed & Breakfast

I can't say enough about Vicki and Kenny and Emily's House. I was looking for a venue for our small wedding and from my first phone conversation with Vicki, she completely understood what we needed and I had complete confidence in her ability to make it all work. Prior to the wedding my fiance and I took two trips up to Paso to make arrangements for the wedding. Since we were from out of town and didn't know anyone in Paso, Vicki drove me all over town introducing me to party rental people, florists, bakers and photographers. She even found us an officiant to conduct the ceremony. In the time between visits Vicki kept in touch with me, making sure I was checking tasks off of my to-do list, and confirming details. The house, which is a historic farmhouse, is very charming, and is kept in impeccable shape by Vicki and Kenny. The backyard is spacious and beautifully landscaped. It was perfect for our December 1 wedding. We only had 25 guests, and due to the real possibility of rain, we had part of the yard tented. Vicki and Kenny went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that our guests would be able to stay dry and comfortable, even if it rained. As it turned out, the rain cleared just in time for the ceremony and it all came together perfectly. In addition to all that, Vicki prepared appetizers and the entire wedding dinner, which was excellent! Along with prime rib, A beautiful butter lettuce salad with bleu cheese and homemade dressing, Vicki made potatoes au gratin and green beans, as well as homemade dinner rolls and homemade butter. Amazing! All in all, it was as perfect as we had hoped, in very large part due to the huge effort put in by Vicki and Kenny. We will cherish our memories of our wedding and these wonderful people, and will be going back as frequently as possible!
