The Elkhorn Lodge is a great place to stay in Beaver Creek - its truly ski out and its supposedly ski in but frankly at the end of the day we always took the shuttle from Centennial - super easy and convenient. The ski out is however a piece of cake - the lift is right outside the back door. I have stayed there with my family three times and the units are spacious and well equipped. You could easily eat all your meals in the room if you wanted as the kitchens are well equipped and there is plenty of space/utensils/cookware etc. Both rooms have a spacious bathroom and there is a large common area my family of four would hang out apres ski and after dinner. It’s super convenient to the Village an easy walk or a short shuttle ride. It’s directly down the street from the Vilar Center which is the hub we mostly used coming into he village at night for dinner. They upgraded the hot tub since the last time i was there and it’s quite large and very nice. Units all have washers and dryers so you can pack light and wash things while you’re there. I would highly recommend this place for a great stay at Beaver creek - can’t think of any downsides.
