A very basic hotel but a surprisingly good value stay with all the amenities needed for a quick stay: clean beds, air-conditioning and instant hot-water showers. It even has a lift so you can go up to your room without having to take the stairs. I would also like to commend the staff of the hotel who were friendly and helpful. After checking out, we had an incident where we had lost a wallet and were tracing back all the places we had been to find it. The hotel's staff were professional about it, helping to look for it and even reviewing the security footage. While we didn't manage to find the missing item in the end, we are grateful to the management and staff of the Chariton Hotel for doing what they could to help us.
