68 reviewsIf you want a quiet stay, in a quiet place, in a clean hotel, with good local food, with perfectly friendly staff then this ticks every box. For what it tries to be it could not be any better. It is not modern but it doesn't try to be. It positively celebrates being wonderfully old-fashioned. It has a surprisingly decent spa. They shuttle you to the ski lift. As someone more used to "modern" (homogeneous?) hotels this was a welcome change. The little details (like the free day sack and free entry to the doll museum - my daughter loved) were all spot on. (As a liberal Londoner) It's a kooky place but I liked it and recommend it to others.
