I  stayed there two times and would stay there again without any hesitation. The rooms are clean, the view is superbe and the indian dishes are one of the best I have eaten during my two months' stay in Rajasthan. The staff and the owner are also very friendly and helpful

Wonderful place in Jodhpur.
We stayed two nights in your hostel and were having almost all our meals here. They have very cheap prices and the food is very tasty.
BK looked after us very kindly.
We would definitely come back again.

The food and beverages were mouthwatering, authentic and delicious. The Mehrangarh fort view is absolutely breathtaking. The owner, Salim is genuinely helpful, humble & friendly. Overall  the experience was genuinely worth visiting again. 


The food was the tastiest and best value for money in Jodhpur (and always cooked fresh). I’d recommend the okra curry! It’s in a perfect location and has an amazing view of the fort from the rooftop restaurant. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms were also lovely, would highly recommend!!

The guest house is clean and has everything you want from a basic room. The shower worked better than many others in India and the wifi was very strong at all times. The property is located in a quiet residential lane, so is a very peaceful spot. There is no aircon but I found that rinsing off in the shower then settling under the fan kept me nice and cool. What you get for the price you pay is amazing value already but when you add in the fantastic rooftop cafe and the firendly helpful owner ( A big Bob Dylan fan)  and you get an absolute bargain for your buck. Great place for getting work done, sitting on the rooftop cafe with amazing views of the fort.

The guesthouse has cute private rooms and a rooftop restaurant with a great view on Mehrangarh Fort. What makes this place exceptional is the kindness of the staff and everyone around.

Nice place to stay.... Ambience is good.. both veg and non veg are equally good... Don't miss meeting Amin bhai... Top floor has view of the fort... Hot water available... Its near to the Mehrangarh fort too... I can assure that no one will b disappointed

The food was delicious, fresh ! The owner very nice, you feel like home at this place. The view in the rooftop is just amazing, you can spend hours here. The price are very affordable, I will come back to have the delicious Rajasthani Thali. 

We had lunch and after we were invited for a cooking class. We cooked mutton masala and it was AMAZING! Highly recommend great owner. They also have a cute cat Babu! Recommend to everyone who wants to have a good time

Excellent location in the heart of Jodhpur and amazing views of the fort. The roof terrace is a great place to chill out.  Rooms are basic but very clean, though the bathrooms need updating. Food was fresh, great quality and really good value. Salim and his team were so welcoming and friendly and really helpful in providing info or local contacts and recommendations. Salim also organised our vehicle to Jaisalmer including an overnight desert camel safari which was excellent  - just two of us sleeping under the stars.  Dinner and breakfast cooked over campfire - even learnt how to make chapatti. Highly recommend Dylan cafe if you are looking for accommodation or somewhere to just chill and have a drink or meal. 

Excellent location and warm welcome

This guest house is very nice. The air-conditioned room may be a bit small but it offers everything you need for a pleasant stay. The highlight of this place is the roof top restaurant which offers a magnificent view of the Mehrangarh Fort. The food is also good, you must definitely try the banana and honey porridge!

We had an amazing time staying in Dylans guest  house. Amin looked after us and even gave us a cooking class making chicken curry and chapati! The hostel had a nice social area with great views over the fort and city. We went on to stay at the sister guest house (Bobs) in Jaisalmer. Would 100% recommend. Thank you!

Amazing hosts!

I had read the reviews and these were amazing so though I was staying in a 5 star I made it a point to check this out and went there for breakfast . The property is in the narrow lanes and  it took a while even for the Auto driver to locate this . We went to the rooftop and the view of the fort is amazing  .They have Indian style seating . The food however was expensive and below average . We ordered a paranta and a veg sandwich and both were just so so . The rooms are super cheap and beautifully decorated . Bathroom is basic but clean . The business owner is at hand and is always smiling and ready to take care of your every need . The place should be wonderful for a super budget no frills stay .

The View Form The Roof Is amazing

I and my husband decided to have dinner at Dylan Cafe due to high ratings / great recommendation and it did not disappoint us. The food was great and affordable and at the same time we were lucky to have met Amin (and the cat Babu). We got a chance to chat for a while and we learned that they also have another guest house in Jaisalmer (where we were heading next) and also offer camel safaris etc... . Since Amin’s offer seems quite good and we somehow felt more familiar with him, we also decided to book our camel trip with him. 

Experiencing the camel safari from Amin’s team was a great decision since we really enjoyed it! We were actually with our 18 month old daughter and initially I was afraid that the safari will be too much for her but it was not the case. At first, Amin picked us up from our hotel with his own car (an effort for him since it was located out of the city). Afterwards, we drove to the scenic lake and then to an old village. On the way, we saw various animals which made the ride very intersting especially for our daughter. Then we met the camels and our guide. Since our trip is the non-touristic one, we only had one Belgian woman with us which made the camel journey more private and relaxed. The duration of the camel ride was just sufficient to make it to raw camp site and enjoy the sunset. The guide and Amin prepared a vegetarian/ Rajasthan style of dish and we had a very nice dinner before Amin brought us back to our hotel.

Great hospitality! Dylan Cafe and Camel Safari

This is very pocket friendly hostel. Clean washroom, clean and tidy rooms, running hot cold water is you should expect from this hostel. It has very beautiful roof top restaurant with awesome view of Mehrangarh fort. Amin is very friendly and make you feel you are at your home. Food served at restaurant is perfect. At night they have buffet dinner which he called as 'Family dinner'. If you like to make new friends (fellow travellers) then this is the place for you.
This hostel is quite full so if you reach early than your check-in time, then be ready to spend some time till check in. 
Don't miss night view of Mehrangarh fort from roof top restaurant.
P.S. - Don't forget to ask wifi password to Amin.
