It is really hard to know where to start reviewing Dulce Villa. D'Arcy and Shawn, the owners, are some of the most wonderful people and were kind to not only share their home, but share their life with us as well. The house is beautifully situated right on the water and is an absolute oasis. The pool was wonderful, the breakfasts were incredibly delicious, and the bed was beyond comfortable. Shawn and D'Arcy had a million ideas for tours and outings and took us swimming in a volcanic lake. It was so fun!! Our trip was more like visiting friends in another country than staying at a B&B. I can't recommend this place highly enough. El Salvador was without a doubt one of my favorite trips, and it was in large part due to D'Arcy and Shawn's warmth and hospitality! Oh and the nachos!!! The nachos in the pool. Need I say more?! =D
