Theeplaats

This is a lovely, quirky bed and breakfast stay. We (2 of us) stayed in the converted stable, where the double bed is in a box (small, tiny niggle - there is no shelf to put a book or glass of water on, but that did not in any way spoilt our stay). There's a cosy nook to sit and watch TV, a massive shower room, a kettle, fridge and microwave and access to a smart coffee maker. The garden is lovely to sit in for a quiet read, or to just enjoy the fruit trees and roses (there were fresh flowers from the garden in the room - a lovely touch). The lady proprietor is charming, very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is very good indeed. The countryside is lovely, a stone's throw away from the Biesbosch nature reserve. There are local shops and takeaways nearby too. I'd go back like a shot.
