We loved everything about this hotel. While it is pricey, it is worth it. From the moment you get there, you are pampered. There is a doorman all the time and each one is friendly. The front desk staff is terrific as are the restaurant staff. Attentive and friendly. The room is magnificent. A large well appointed bathroom, view of the canal, comfortable bed, big towels and bathrobe. Turn down service with an interesting note about Amsterdam each night. The location of the hotel is perfect. It’s about a mile walk from central station so unless it’s raining it’s a nice walk (assuming you are a light packer!) The restaurant Marie is terrific. We had a light dinner one night and breakfast two mornings. Outstanding all. We hope to go back some day!
