YOLO Hostel n Bar

My and my girlfriend had a wonderful time here and with an exotic view! We connected fairly quickly with the hotel runners and of course the dog - 'Miau', who is such a beauty!

Very reasonably priced as well!

At first, I thought it was a cafe's until I walked inside, there were billiards, outdoor seats and a bar with beer. The bar looks really cozy with candles. We could watch other people playing billiards while drinking and talking. I love the name of this bar.

YOLO hostel is obviously one of the best budget hostel I have ever stayed in Vietnam. With the rate of roundly $5 a night, YOLO provides exceptional customer service with an unique environment which cannot to be found in Dalat. In additional, breakfast (very basic with bread and jam, ...) and free beer voucher is also included in room rate. How great is that?

Last but not least, we would like to send our best regard to Miss Muoi, Miss Ngoc and other YOLO staffs who were extremely friendly and provided great help during our trip in Dalat few days ago. Thank you for those unforgettable memories, guys!

Just 5$ but have free beer, towel, cake, tea, boardgame,....good places. 
 It's a lovely hostel,  friensdly staff ,nice bar and cocktails in the evening at reasonable prices. Central location, about a 1 minute walk to the market and the lake. 
AMAZING........

I stayed here for 2 nights and had a great experience. Clean facility, open areas and a calm atmosphere. I didn't feel pressed to do anything or make a move. Overall, I had a pleasant time. 

I went during the "winter" so it was cold everywhere inside and outside the hostel (16-20 degrees C/ 60-69 degrees F). The communal space, bedrooms and bathrooms are cold. It is tolerable if you have the proper clothing (sweater, jacket, scarf). I didn't have a problem. 

Bathrooms are communal (separate for men and women) and not enclosed from the outside world, which means that it's cold.The warm water works fine, just make sure to turn on the hot water switch and give it time for it to warm up. Brush your teeth or something in the mean time. The shower doors are saloon style and made out of aluminum and the hinges are powerful, so its like a game of life size Operation getting in and out of the shower. Bathrooms are clean and well kept. 

The bedrooms are nice. I stayed in the 6 person dorm. It is simple, clean and organized. I was worried about how cold it would be at night but the blanket cover they provide is very warm. It looks like a down cover, it isn't, but i feels like one. The mattress's are a foam material but not cheap feeling and the pillow is not large and puffy. Nor is it thin and abused... it's just right. I slept like a baby.

The staff are great. They do their own thing and feel like clientele until you need them. Then they are very helpful. Bar guy is cool, he runs a tight ship. 

I rented a motorbike that worked well. I paid 150k VND for the day and it did it's job. I'm sure you can get it cheaper elsewhere (100-120k VND) but its convenient and you feel secure getting it from them. 

Overall, I had a good stay. My only gripe is that the towel they provide is tiny. About the size of a like a large gym towel they provide at a gym chain in the States. Come prepared for the weather like you should and you'll have a good time here.

This hostel's so good for budget, convinient and very central.
They have everything we need and their assistant is appriciated.
Maybe we'll try YOLO camping next time.
We were enjoy our stay so much.
