Great hotel,  the caretakers are amazing and kind.   We only stayed one night, but it was very pleasant.  They organized transportation and made us a great breakfast.  They have a very nice pool.  stairs are a little steep in one part  -only about 8 steps

Our family of 15 (7 grandkids, 6 adult children, 2 grandparents) spent Christmas week in Negril, Jamaica hosted by Fabio at his guest house Da Fabio, This was our 3rd vacation trip staying at Da Fabio and if it was not for Covid we would have been there a 4th time. Our plan is definitely to return as the accomodation, transportation and meals suit our family"s needs to experience an excellent vacation.

This was our first visit to Jamaica. We stayed at DaFabio's just for one night since we flew in a day early and it was an awesome experience. It gave us the true island vibe. The rooms were clean and comfortable and there were a multitude of sitting areas with different views that were spectacular.  We were lucky enough to have Fabio cook dinner and breakfast for us and everything was excellent. He is a very talented chef,  even made the bread from scratch. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax after a day of travel and they treated us like royalty!  A special thanks to Alex who made sure we had everything we wanted and told us about life on the island, and to Fabio who made us feel at home and spent many hours in the kitchen preparing meals for us. We can't wait to go back!

I give them 5 stars not only for their charming and clean hotel but also for their amazing welcome and impeccable service. Alex will make sure you have everything you need, and he will prepare delicious meals for you with fresh products.
I am traveling alone and the night I arrived I had a problem with the airport shuttle and I was going to be alone at 11pm on the street looking for a taxi but Alex contacted the driver and came to pick me up. Honestly he saved my vacation which was going to start on a bad note.
The building has a very special design with wood and there is always good music playing in the background. 
I absolutely loved my room with the private balcony and a hammock and enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset every night.
Everything was there to make my stay a memorable trip.

Je leur donne 5 étoiles non seulement pour leur hôtel charmant et propre mais aussi pour leur accueil incroyable et leur service impeccable. Alex veillera à ce que vous ayez tout ce dont vous avez besoin, et il vous préparera de délicieux repas avec des produits frais.
Je voyage seule et le soir de mon arrivée j'ai eu un problème avec la navette aéroport et j'allais me retrouver seule à 23h dans la rue à la recherche d'un taxi mais Alex a contacté le chauffeur et est venu me chercher. Honnêtement il a sauvé mes vacances qui allaient commencer sur une mauvaise note.
Le bâtiment a un design très spécial avec du bois et il y a toujours de la bonne musique en arrière-plan.
J'ai vraiment adoré ma chambre avec le balcon privé et un hamac et j'ai apprécié regarder le magnifique coucher de soleil tous les soirs.
Tout était là pour faire de mon séjour un voyage mémorable.

An unforgattble vacation in a wonderful place

This is a memorable place that I will carry in my heart for a long time to come. Such a beautiful and peaceful place which totally merges with nature with beautiful views all around.  Reggae music or gospel music is always playing in the background for that real Jamaica experience . The design of the building is unusual and has all the facilities you need when on holiday. There are different sitting areas through the hotel where you can sit and watch hummingbirds, crabs casually walking across the deck, a big frog sitting among the plants, an owl which is always on time for the 9pm show :) or simply the cat Latte who likes to patrol around the property.
The hosts are just amazing in every way. We are so fortunate to have met such wonderful people. We can honestly say that they made the holiday for us. Alex (Alessio) and Luca could not do enough for us. Not only they cooked delicious food for us every day, sometimes Italian and sometimes Jamaican with the help of Rainie, Alessio’s wife, but they also organised excursions for us and gave us the best advice too. They are just genuine and eager to please.
This is a special and unforgettable place and worth taking the time to write a fuller review. I miss you guys already ♥️

A wonderful haven

There is no Negril without Da Fabio. We just returned from an incredible vacation and Da FAbio was one of the highlights. If you're lucky enough to have Fabio cook for you, don't pass the chance (the yummiest lasagne, pizza, lobster - better Italian food than in all LA). The villa is beautiful and you will experience the best sunsets. The place is immaculate, rooms spacious, pool well cared for. Just pass on those dingy, old hotels on the beach, you won't regret staying at Da Fabio. Can't wait to return!

Gem in Jamaica

I travel to Jamaica often but normally stay with family, this time I wanted to do something different.

I spent two weeks with my daughter at da Fabio’s, we were warmly greeted after a long journey by Milton, who showed us to our rooms, and made us coffee. Which he done for us every morning, I was disappointed to find out that the restaurant was closed for our whole trip, which meant that we had to spend two weeks planing what and where we was going to eat. Which was not so easy the first week due to not having a car, so spent a lot of money on taxis, as the hotel is quite a walk from the town and beach. 

But Milton advises us where to go, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, and had everything we needed. He even helped us hire a car. The hotel is clean, relaxing, the pool and gardens are well looked after, and the views are amazing. The locals were very friendly, and welcoming. 

I have to be honest, if it wasn’t for Milton I think we would have gone to stay with family, as the idea of cooking for two weeks was not my idea of a holiday. But we ended up having an amazing holiday, and having da Fabio as our base was perfect. I would definitely come back again, and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Beautiful hotel, with awesome views

A nice place to stay, friendly staff, clean and tidy. We stayed here for a place to rest our heads while visiting Negril for a few days. Very quite, not noisy at all. A calm place just to chill before heading out on day tours and parties at night. You'll need a good taxi driver to shuttle you in and out of town. Da Fabio do have a shuttle service but it's a day time bus service only  If there are only 2-4 a car will do and would be much cheaper but you'd have to find one privately. Meals are made to order only so be sure to request this if you need it when you arrive. They also have a card machine for paying by card and prefer to trade in USD. Cash is also accepted. 

Feels like home 

Da Fabio's is a hidden gem in the hills of Negril.  It's ideal if you want the best of everything - the beaches and the shops are not too far away, yet when you want to just chill out and enjoy the best of Jamaica, you can relax on the veranda in a hammock taking in the natural views and listening to the natural sounds around you - bliss.

Da Fabio, Sarah and their team are great hosts - you quickly feel part of the family, and can't help but blend into the relaxed and easy-going atmosphere.  That said, the guest house is kept to a very high standard - very clean, lovely shower, beautiful surroundings, and everyone is very attentive.

Milton deserves a paragraph to himself - he is the eyes and ears of Da Fabio, and makes sure every guest has everything they need to make their holiday special.

All in all, highly recommended!!!

Negril's hidden secret

11 of us including 5 grandkids, 2 yrs to 11 yrs, visited Negril in March for 1 week and stayed with Fabio, who not only accommodated all of us but also fed us, arranged a couple of excursions & transported us around Negril. We all had a tremendous vacation and have booked a return trip for our expanding family. Fabio is an excellent host!
