We stayed at Hotel Crown for 7 days this June with our young children, and it was an absolutely lovely experience. The hotel is perfect for families looking for a peaceful, quiet vacation spot away from the crowds.

The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, ideal if you're traveling with small kids. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. There’s plenty of space around the property for children to play safely, and the whole setting feels very relaxed and family-friendly.

The location is great too – close to the beach and just a short walk or drive from the village of Nea Skioni, where you can find charming tavernas and shops. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always making sure we felt at home.

If you're looking for a calm, cozy place to unwind and enjoy quality time with your family, we highly recommend Hotel Crown. We had a wonderful time and would love to return!

What a lovely hotel and superb location. All the staff including room cleaners were fantastic.the owners are so kind and helpful I have stayed here 4 times over 2 years and hope to continue my visits. I love everything about it and since my first visit they are improving the facilities constantly. I give 11 out of 10 for fantastic holidays at the crown hotel

Great Service, Fantastic Location , excellent value.  This is my 3rd visit and will stay there again when we are in Neo Skione.  Quality home cooked food was delicious.  Weather spot on.  Staff extremely helpful.  A really happy environment . Make someone smile today, where ever you are.

Perfect for families with kids. Nice playground in front of the hotel with lots of toys. The beach is very close with friendly staff in the beach bar . Free of charge Wi-Fi  internet . Clean rooms with balcony and nice see view.

Perfect Family Getaway in Nea Skioni

The rooms and bathrooms are small, it is not enough space in the room for 4persons in the apartment. The apartment where I stood had just 2 small wardrobe and I had to let my laguage in the room. The food is ok, they serve almost the same think every day at the breakfast, the staff is friendly. The beach near the Hotel is small and has stones in the water. The beach bar is a good one. Is a little city, 10minutes walk by foot away from the Hotel where you have restaurants and a small park. This place is good if you want to relax, not to have fun.

Average

The facility is old. Hygiene is at an alarming level. There are two facilities, and they only advertise one; the chance you end up in the second is very high. The doors are not functioning at all. There are unsecured electrical cables. Mold is all over the walls. There is broken glass on the balcony. Old, broken beds and mattresses are present. This hotel should be inspected by health and safety inspectors.

Terrible

We stayed in the period from July 5 to July 14. in the room above the restaurant on the first floor. In the beginning, we didn't have an air conditioner in the room (it was faulty), after some "repairs" it worked only at 24 degrees without the possibility to decrease or increase the set temperature. The light bulb in the hallway didn't work either, the bathroom was terrible, the shower battery was broken, the toilet seat was broken. We asked for an extra chair on the terrace since there were three of us in the room, which we got. At the reception there was a certain Patricia who is extremely rude as well as the staff in charge of cleaning. 
The food is good, as are the kitchen staff who are always smiling. Hotel in an excellent position but with terrible staff. The beach below the hotel is terrible, the restaurant on the beach is not functioning.  The hotel parking lot consists of 3 spaces, we parked in the meadow next to it.

Desperate experience

We booked a stay at Crown Hotel by Diomedes Group in Nea Skioni through Booking.com, trusting the photos and description. Unfortunately, our experience was completely different from what was promised. The apartment we were given looked nothing like the pictures on the website.
This was not a 3-star experience as advertised. The condition of the hotel, the misleading Booking.com listing, and the unprofessional and unhygienic environment were extremely disappointing. If you’re considering staying here – don’t. We strongly advise Booking.com to review this listing and take action, as this is a clear case of false advertising and guest deception.
The listing showed spacious apartments with a sea view, sofa beds arranged as a lounge area, and clearly stated that the sofa could accommodate a third person. In reality, we were placed in an annex building that doesn’t appear in any of the photos online. When we asked at the reception why we weren’t in the room we booked, the receptionist told us the pictures were “for general hotel representation” and not of the actual apartment being reserved. That is misleading and unacceptable.
•	The annex was hidden behind the main building and not shown in any photos. It had swallows nesting inside the corridors, with bird droppings scattered across the floor. The hallway wasn’t cleaned even once during our three-day stay. Guests were forced to clean their own doors.
•	There was no elevator, even though the buildings had four floors with steep stairs. This was a serious problem for two of our group members with knee issues.
•	Our room was between the third and fourth floor, and instead of a sea view, we had a view of other buildings’ rooftops. When we complained, the receptionist rudely insisted it was still a “sea view” because we could see a tiny strip of the sea over the rooftops.
•	The balcony door screen was torn, and the glass railing was cracked, which raised serious concerns about safety.
•	Inside, the bathroom was flooding – first from the toilet, then from the shower in the second room they offered us.
•	The door frames were taped with duct tape, a shocking sign of poor maintenance.
•	There were exposed wires and no lightbulbs in the hallways.
•	No towels were changed, no garbage was emptied
•	Curtains dragged on the floor, collecting dust, and we were given only one thin blanket for three people. After insisting, we got another one, still not enough for the cold nights (temperature dropped to around 10°C).
•	The listing said “No pets allowed”, but dogs and cats roamed the dining area freely, jumping on tables and eating from guests’ plates. One dog even stole a young girl's dinner, and the hotel staff did nothing about it.
•	The receptionist was unaware of what the Booking.com offer included. He managed reservations with just a pen and paper, unprepared and confused.
•	The owner arrived on Sunday with friends and organized a karaoke party with extremely loud music, disturbing all the guests who just wanted peace and rest. It seemed like an attempt to distract from the poor conditions and calm down angry guests.
•	On the final morning, breakfast consisted of leftovers from the night before, and not once in four days were we served butter—only margarine or nothing at all.

Total Disappointment at Crown Hotel by Diomedes Group, Nea Skioni

It is situated by a nice beach but offers poor services and it is badly built. The water drain is outside the shower causing water leaks all over the place. No privacy in the rooms and balconies. TV not working. Aircondition very noisy. They don't change sheets and towels.

Worse than our most negative expectations. Bathroom full of scale and malfunctioning equipment. Room cleaning service was a joke. Nobody was speaking Greek! You could make a more decent breakfast at your own place. 
Only plus to this total displeasure is the perfect location.
