I simply can't say enough about Lazy River or thank Janine and Alan enough for a great stay. It was like staying at a friends place.

We were given one of the separate villas in the garden with our own access and key so you are quite literally staying in your own place with full catering facilities etc.

What a wonderful and peaceful home away from home.  I spent 4 months here and I felt extremely welcome, looked after in every possible way, and it really felt as if I was at home.  The owner, Janine, and her wonderful staff really go out of their way to make your experience with them feel like you are at home.

I stayed in the Leap Frog unit and it is exceptionally clean with absolutely everything that you might need.  And if you do require anything else Janine is always extremely accomodating and helpful. The Leap Frog unit is exceptionally private with your own outside area to relax in after a long day.  There is also a beautiful pool area that you are welcome to use.

It is extremely centrally located with most shops just a stone throw away.  Very easy access to all major freeways as well so travelling in and out daily is a breeze.

If ever I had the opportunity to stay here again I would do so in a heartbeat!  I will most certainly recommend CONSTANTIA LAZY RIVER to friends and colleagues.

I recently spent 5 days staying at Lazy River in Constantia. The room was comfortable with all amenities included. The host, Janine was very helpful and down-to-earth. It was refreshing to retreat from the hustle and noise of big cities, even though Cape town city was a mere 15 minutes away.

Janine is an excellent host and the accommodations were very comfortable.  I liked the stocked fridge -- a market is walking distance too.  I had the frog themed room which was cheery and comfortable.  I was working near by so the location was perfect for me.

Peaceful, Comfortable & Well Priced

Lazy River affords fantastic views of Table Mountain in a quiet location that is safe yet close to restaurants, Constantia Village, wineries and the city.
We have visited Cape Town many times before and so may not be the usual visitor because in addition we continue to run our business as necessary while away from home!  So for us the internet was intermittent and the DSTV as advertised non-existent - important for us but not for others, we know. Also that the property does not accept pets but has three dogs that are, for us, noisy and a cat. Had we known there were three dogs we would have reserved an alternative property.
Overall we enjoyed our stay in Cape Town but aspects of Lazy River meant that we would not return.
