Cois Re Apartments

Just stayed in these apartments last weekend. We had the 2 ground floor apartments. On the website it looks like there is a double bed and a twin room but in reality it is 2 twin rooms and so they would sleep 4. Kitchens were well kitted out, parking just outside and fab outside space with great sea and sunset views. washing machine which is great if you are partaking in surfing or other activities and have gear to wash. Carmel was really responsive to messages and check in and out were easy. We didnt use it as we had not kids with us but I saw they have baby equipment which is great so you do not have to bring too much. They also had a lovely bookshelf in the hall with some good reads! Would defo book again.

Our family of 3 plus two dogs stayed at cois re apartments last weekend. We had a ground floor apartment.  By far the best accommodation we've stayed in in Ireland. Beautiful apartment with stunning sea view. Very spacious. Spotlessly clean. Very welcoming hallway and great outside space for the dogs. Lovely patio with furniture. Beds were super comfy. Showers great. The kitchen had everything you need. Even a washing machine. Carmel is a great host and gave a lovely welcome even to the dogs. No problem with parking. I would highly recommend cois re and can't wait to return.

We stayed at Cois Re apartments in October in order to do the Strandhill food festival in early October. Carmel the owner was amazingly helpful even extending the use of the next doors fridge as the apartment was unoccupied at the time. The apartment has an amazing view of the beach and you van hear the waves crashing from the porch. It is a very relaxing place to be topped by the presence of a Jacuzzi to message tired bones after a hard day's activity. The local area is really scenic and there is loads to do. Great restaurants and bars in the area, stoked restaurant in particular is  worth a try.

Stayed last week in June with family it was a very relaxing holiday.  Apartments were ideal had everything we needed. Kitchen well equipped comfortable living space with good WiFi a must for teenagers. Two showers hot water comfy beds even had a great sleep in hot weather. Def be back has all u need close by beach bar restaurants. Carmel was very helpful and easy to deal with from start to finish

Stayed with family for 5 nights at the end of June. Carmel was very welcoming on our arrival and also phoned to touch base while she was abroad herself a couple of days in. We had only planned on staying 4 nights but Carmel was very kind and gave us the fifth night free of charge. 
Apartments were spotless and so comfortable with crisp white linen on the beds. Apartment was perfect for our needs with a 10 month old baby. 
I'm still dreaming about the amazing view we had of the sunsets over the ocean!!

Beach and restaurants only a 10 minute walk. Venue bar next door with great food but more importantly no noise coming from it. 
Would highly recommend and will most definitely be back.

Stayed in Cois Re to attend a family party, checked out numerous places to stay before picking Cois Re and I’m glad we did. Carmel was a very welcoming host, I had originally booked the apartment with two double beds, however it was no problem to change when the apartment with a double and twin room was more suitable. 
The kitchen was the perfect size and a large living room. There was an extra pull out camp bed and toddler cot available if needed. 
Close to the Venue pub and resturant and the dunes tavern just across the road. Parking at the front was little bit we had no problem parking behind the apartments in the Venue car park, with easy access to the garden and then the back door of the apartments. 
Washing machine, dishwasher all available also. Will definitely be booking again

Apartment was never 4* as advertised. Lots of things broken, dirty dishes, hairs on towels, light bulbs missing, hearers uncontrollable and communal area fouled and urinated by dogs very unsafe for children needing to play. Our host Carmel gave us €20 euro off our stay which card machine wouldn't even work. Been in contact with host and paid our bill today and after I told her of all issues needing addressed Carmel has decided to block me from any further communications. Yet another take your money and don't care about your holiday. Try book elsewhere if you can although I know Strandhill has limited choice for accommodation unfortunately. From all the older reviews I can see values and the newness has well gone from the owner.
