Excellent Place for groups of people

Stayed with friends in Rahooloo Cottage, which is part of Coast Norfolk Island. A well-furnished comfortable two bedroom cottage, with all the facilities that we needed. One bedroom downstairs, and a mezzanine bedroom upstairs, which was the one that I used. The view from the front deck overlooks the ocean to the south, and across to Phillip Island. I definitely recommend this cottage as a holiday destination. My only criticism is that the lighting in the cottage is not bright enough at night. For example, the lighting on the wooden stairs to the mezzanine level is so poor that, combined with an unfortunate shadow on a step edge, I missed a step coming downstairs and only just avoided a serious injury. However, don’t let this dissuade you from choosing to stay here!

An excellent cottage for a family or a group of friends!

COAST Norfolk Island…. Wow an amazing place to stay, well located with both rural and ocean views.
We had a group of 18 (7 units and 3 cottages) everyone thoroughly enjoyed staying at COAST!
We were pickup up from airport and dropped off at accommodation. Our hire cars were there, ready for us at Coast.  You definitely need hire cars for trips to town and to explore the island.
All Units and Cottages were super clean and self-contained. 
Another great thing about staying at COAST was the boat shed (shared communal area) a great place to finish the night off playing card games etc
Raewyn and the staff were very helpful and lovely.
Would highly recommend COAST for your stay on Norfolk Island.
The people of Norfolk were all friendly & made us feel like we were part of a big family.
Norfolk Island one day we will be back, and staying at COAST again!


COAST Norfolk Island - Amazing

My wife and I just had the most amazing stay at the ‘Garden’ cabin at Coast Norfolk. A brilliant unit with great kitchen, views and bed! We absolutely loved the ‘Boathouse’ room near the unit where we sat and had drinks most afternoons! A big thanks also to Olivia (Livy) who looked after our arrival and departure so well. She amazing. We’ll be back! Thanks Coast and thanks Norfolk Island.

Amazing stay at Coast!

Enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of coast apartments with tranquil views across farmland towards Kingston. Less than 5 minutes to the shops at Burnt Pine. Daily visits by a beautiful horse called Biscuit.

30th wedding anniversary

Just extremely comfortable accomodation in a beautiful setting with gorgeous views, so relaxing, car included in the price, and a few minutes from wherever on this beautiful green, quiet island.

I loved my stay at Coast Norfolk Island. Super relaxing, beautiful and quiet. The staff are lovely & accomodation was clean, comfortable & modern. I had views of the swimming pool, rolling hills, cows & ocean, stunning! The TVs have built in DVD players so I recommended taking over some DVDs if you are there for a while. Loved that the accomodation includes a hire car during your stay on the Island. I got a great little car. Loads of pot holes on the road & no street lights so I enjoyed the slow drives around the Island. Town is about 10 mins or so away (well for me driving!). If you can take over any 'long life' food, I recommend it as food was quite expensive (as to be expected being on an island!) and in short supply at the grocery store. Oh & I wish I had taken over some gumboots & there was quite a bit of rain during my time visiting & gumboots would have allowed for more walks! Definitely recommend staying at Coast Norfolk.

My wife and I enjoyed 7 peaceful days in a sea view apartment. The apartment was immaculate, comfortable and had all amenities required for a great holiday. The location was so peaceful and the views across the island to the sea is beautiful. We booked direct and the booking included a car which was waiting for us on arrival. Staff are friendly and made us feel welcome.

A Peaceful Retreat

Had 1 bed wood lined cottage, felt homely, loved the deck with lounger to enjoy view across farm, watch the horses, view through pines to sea and Philip Island.  Comfortable, clean and had everything we needed.

Great view

We spent a week at Coast and it was ideal for our stay on the island. I had booked a smaller unit but on arrival they'd upgraded us to a larger one, which was a lovely surprise. We had a large balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean. It's very peaceful and quiet in this part of the island, yet close to either end of town via two roads when you want to go anywhere and only a few minutes drive from Kingston and the beach. I liked the central Boat House where you could make use of lots of equipment and also use/ leave any food items you have left over for the next lot of visitors. Plenty of spare beach towels and large fan available in the room for the humid days. Lovely views of rolling hills, pines, cows and horses. They'd had a lot of rain just before we came and the room initially smelled very musty but we left the door open all the time we were there and all night (it was warm enough) and it soon cleared, I think the whole island was struggling with the weather. Hire car was included in the room rate and that was wonderful value and was waiting for us when the shuttle bus dropped us to the property. We left it at the airport the day we flew out. I recommend getting the tourist SIM for $30 (from Norfolk Telecom) to use in your phone as the other method requires you finding the wifi hot spots; on Coast this is only in the Boat House I believe but the tourist SIM was good value (just don't phone Australia as it will eat away all your credit!)
