Stayed here for 2 nights to visit Christmas Fayre in Bury
It's about 20 mins by car outside Bury in the little village of Elmswell
The Manor is set in lovely grounds on the outskirts of the village and is just beautiful
We had a Superior King room and it did not disappoint - The bathroom was huge! It had a fabulous roll top bath in the centre, an amazing shower and underfloor heating.
The bedrrom was really plush and had a large sofa to lounge on along with the usual TV and tea making facilities
It really was worth the extra few pounds and I would stay again 
The hosts were great, available yet not intrusive

Situated on the outskirts of Elmswell village, 10 miles east of Bury St Edmunds, the Clonmara Manor is a delightfully restored old rectory. The owner was very helpful throughout my one night stay during a recent cycling tour of East Anglia. My room was bright, cheery & clean with a free-standing bath and combined shower. A good, hearty breakfast completed an enjoyable stay. Recommended.

I took my wife here for her birthday.  The hotel is relatively easy to find considering its fairly remote location and is tucked away off the main road behind some trees.  Upon arrival we were met by the owner who was welcoming and friendly, and we were offered tea and scones in the garden which were delicious.  

The room was large and nicely decorated with a reasonably comfortable bed but the best thing about the room was undoubtedly the bathroom which was huge and contained an enormous claw-foot bath and separate shower.

We had a good night’s sleep and breakfast in the morning was very nice.

I’d definitely recommend Clonmara Manor if you want to get away from everything.

Had a lovely overnight here and very impressed with the work put in to get the property to its current position.  If it was my home I certainly wouldn't want to share it! It is both warm and enchanting and we were privileged to have been shown photographs of the process to get it into it's current state - well done you guys!
The room was lovely and had a roll top bath in the bathroom.  Everything was lovely and clean and well thought out.  We were offered tea and scones upon arrival but declined as we had had a late lunch but I'm sure they would have been great.  As I'm a light sleeper I did wake a couple of times during the night.  It was warm and a lovely starry night so we slept with the curtains and windows open - unfortunately, the husband slept through and I slept periodically due to the noise of the continual traffic on the A14! So light sleepers be warned - I usually put my ipad on to play music because of this difficulty, but was so comfy I couldn't be bothered - lesson to me then!
Tea and coffee facility in the room with fresh milk and a bottle of cold water - nice touch.  Nice to have both a free standing bath and ample sized shower (for a change) in the very spacious bathroom.  Lovely
