Clarendon Springs Bed and Breakfast

We arrived with all our backpacking gear in our cars plus a canine friend. The hostess was as welcoming as could be! At the time there were a few canines already living there, one of which was elderly and a bit crotchety - we juggled dogs a bit here and there, but the owner was extremely accomodating. The room was PERFECT with a twin for me and I allowed my brother to have the larger bed. Windows on all sides and a fan with serenity pouring in all over the place! Breakfast the next morning was FANTASTIC and hearty - perfect for getting back into the woods. She recommended places for dinner, nearest laundromat for washing our gear, gave us rein to use the hot-tub (but we didn't) and the grounds are beautiful and relaxing. This place is a little boho, so perhaps not to everyone's taste, but certainly to mine. Would we come back? Absolutely.
