Room was clean and well presented. Although a little bit out of the city centre it is still within walking distance. Very friendly staff and overall a nice couple of days spent in Dublin. Reception also offered free luggage hold which was a nice touch.

Dublin is a very expensive city and the accommodation isn’t any different. 
We wanted something close enough to walk into the city but also clean & safe. 
These apartments are the perfect fit. 
Walk into the city is an easy 10/15 minutes, apartments are clean and have all amenities. 

Some minor faults- an iron burn on the floor, our glasses were taken by a maid and not replaced but nothing major. 
Would recommend

Good budget option. 

Great stay

These apartments come at a budget friendly price and the one we stayed in was clean but being located at the bottom of the building it was very noisy. Even the slightest movement by people in the room or hallway above us resulted in very loud noises in our room due to the old flooring of the building. The mattress was not bad but the pillows were flat and despite having two each it was tough to get a comfortable night’s sleep.

It has everything for a short trip. Neutral deco, most modcon I have come to expect. The water pressure of the shower is disappointing though. Handy little kitchenette for lazy breakfasts in. Convenient for several central attractions at a very reasonable price. Would stay again.

Pleasant stay at budget friendly prices, inner city location, deprived but safe.

Booked to stay in March last year and of course the pandemic hit, they let us re-book for August (not knowing how long it would all last) and since then NO communication. 
As soon as we said we can't travel and would like a refund it was like they didn't exist anymore. Impossible to get hold of, seems to be no one working... even picking up emails for over a year? Emailed and phoned countless times, nothing! 
Would have rebooked when allowed if they had at least bothered to reply and refunded us but will never even consider them again. 
Wish I could give them a 0 rating. 
Do not book and do yourself a favour!

Very poor or non existent communication between myself and guest services, to try and arrange a refund. They do not have any customer service!

I understand that everyone has struggled during the pandemic however waiting a year for a refund for a group of all NHS workers who were looking forward to this trip is appalling. What a way to treat the ones that have been working tirelessly over the last year, with financial loss.

Booked this apartment for my family for its local proximity to the airport. Walked in and walked straight back out again. The photos on Expedia bear no resemblance to the disgusting, smelly, filthy and tiny apartment we were given the keys to. I have also not received a refund 2 weeks after cancelling. 
These photos should be removed from Expedia as they are false advertising

Absolutely sh##hole

Absolutely disgusted with the City Apartments, and the fact that it is listed on established websites such as Expedia. Not only is it unclean, my room key opened the front door of every other apartment in the building (as a master key). It is totally unsafe, and concerned for our safety, we had to leave immediately - looking, booking, and paying, for another independent hotel. The rooms look nothing like the pictures. Customer Service is a joke, after calling the number provided, we got a voicemail. It absolutely stunk of cigarettes and the fixtures and fittings were worn. To sum up - terrible. But more importantly, unsafe.

Unsafe. Abysmal. Would not put my dog in it.

we were devasted when the taxi dropped us off here at a tiny reception it was in a deprived area and looked like beiruit. we were early so could not check in till 4 and was told our bags were left at our own risk. we walked down the street looking for somewhere to sit till check in and found a bar to the left which was ok would not have went if there hadnt of been 13 of us girls. after leaving the bar we went to the spar across the road and was pestered to death by kids outside the shop trying to get into our bags etc. even the shop keeper says be carefull and watch your pockets and bags . we did a sharp exit and back to reception .checked in rooms were lovely but really did not feel safe at all .if you could pick these apts up and put them somewhere else they would be perfect we got taxis everywhere after that . the taxis were asking us why are yous staying in this area it really is not safe for you girls so thanks thomas cook for putting us in the roughest part of dublin for a hen doo !!

Only gave 1 green dot as there is no facility to give 0 - DO NOT USE!!!!

Unfortunately due to Covid-19 City Apartments decided it was unsafe for us to stay and cancelled our booking. EVEN AFTER NUMEROUS EMAIL REQUESTS THEY HAVE NOT RESPONDED TO OUR REQUEST FOR A REFUND.
