Wonderful breathtaking experience from the welcoming staff to the uniqueness of the rooms to their amazing game drives. Highly recommended.

The lodges were very special. The team were very accommodating and welcoming. The huge area of lush land and animals is breathtaking. I highly recommend going as couples and with kids as well.

Amazing experience! The place was wonderful and the staff is exceptional! The service provided by Anthony, Aaron, Stanley, Jackson and everybody else made our stay ap comfortable and stress free. Looking forward to visiting again!

This hotel is amazing! The staff is all super friendly. The food is terrific, in the winter months it gets colder and the pool is heated so that was a nice touch. Our waiter for the 2 days Anthony was awesome, very personable and made us feel at home. Can’t recommend the hotel enough.

The staff was outstanding.  We were greeted very friendly with a tasty welcome drink and cold towels.  The check in process was flawless, someone took us to our little cabin.  It was very clean, good beds and nicely build bathrooms. 
Food was outstanding.  We did a sundowner activity and a bush breakfast.  Both were executed flawlessly. Once again, great food.  We also did a game drive and saw lots of animals.
I can recommend this lodge without hesitation and look forward to coming back.

Look no further. This is a true gem and a breathtaking place and was one of the highlights of our trip. The place was so well run and the staff was incredibly courteous and made sure all our needs were met. The food was the best we had in Africa. We wished we had more days here. They surprised us with the most memorable bush dinner and bonfire. Look no further. This is a dreamlike place.

The cottages are set in a beautiful neatly clipped garden, the acacia trees adds the beauty to the Lodge's cottages. Amazing furniture uniquely done, I was told they're all done locally. You will enjoy a wide range of international cuisine here. I enjoyed viewing wildlife while driving through the conservancy just from the entrance.

Don’t miss out !

Chui Lodge was one of three accommodations we stayed in while on Safari in Kenya. Unlike the other camps, we were not able to keep our guide with us and had to use one of the guides from the lodge. (The lodge and the conservancy it’s on are all run by the same owners) After the initial surprise, this turned out to be really great thing, as the provided guides was incredibly familiar with the location and terrain.

At check in, we were greeted with cold towels and welcome drinks. Our bags were carried and we were checked in quickly at the front desk and shown to our hut. Calling it a hut is somewhat deceptive, since it featured a four poster bed and full bathroom. The rooms have a lot of charm and character, with hand painted windows. The bed has a mosquito net but it’s really unnecessary unless you plan on leaving your door open.

My only complaints would be that the number to call for service was only told to us verbally and not written down anywhere, and this was the only accommodation on our safari that didn’t offer us a wake up call with coffee. When we mentioned an early morning, they asked us to go to the dining room for coffee. (Really very minor gripes)

We had the all inclusive option. Food and meal service were excellent. Attentive without being overbearing. Our favorite part was al fresco lunch in front of the watering hole, watching the wildlife. All meals were multiple courses - you will not leave hungry.

The heated pool was also a highlight. Definitely worth a few hours between meals and activities. Comfy lounge chairs look out over the watering hole.

The activities offered were nothing short of amazing. This is where Chui Lodge really shone. Arriving in Kenya, I didn’t know what to expect. ‘Would we see any animals?’ Was a worry for me. Well, I didn’t need to worry, we saw hyenas within 1 minute of our first game drive. While the conservancy did not have all of the big five, this was the place where we saw the highest density of animals. No boring bits during game drives. We also got exceedingly lucky on our very first game drive and had a leopard cross the road right in front of our vehicle. 

In addition to game drives, they planned a bush walk for us, sundowners on both evenings we were there and a bush breakfast on our second day. And every single thing was phenomenal. Watching the sun go down by a warm campfire, overlooking a landscape filled with wildlife, while having a drink and freshly made snack. Just the best.

This lodge also offers boat trips on lake Naivasha. We had done the boat ride with a different operator before arriving but would definitely do it at Chui Lodge instead next time.

We’d recommend this place to anyone going to the lake Naivasha area. It’s was an excellent introduction to safari and just such a relaxing place. 

And if offered, do the flower farm tour! It’s at a rose breeding facility and was amazingly informative. We didn’t think we’d like it but ended up really enjoying it.

And lastly a reminder to travelers to please tip generously. The staff really do go all out. They also make it easy by collecting a lump sum at then of your stay so there no need to keep a lot of small bills (guides should be tipped separately).

Dream Vacation

Oserengoni Wildlife Sanctuary Naivasha 

Wonderful private conservancy

Just came back from spending two nights at the Kiboko House, which is part of Chui Lodge. Was there is our three kids ages 7, 10, and 12. The house was absolutely amazing, especially all of the staff that made our stay incredible. They cooked us delicious meals and we have never been so well fed. They completely catered to our dietary needs, including our kids which are very picky eaters and my wife which is gluten free and vegetarian. Our game driver Martin was incredible as well. Very knowledgeable on all the animals and where to find the Leopard. Driving through the conservatory seeing all the animals, then having a sundowner by the fire and roasting marshmallows, followed by a night game drive trying to spot the Leopard, then coming home to a delicious dinner was our favorite part. Highly highly recommended. The staff is some of the friendliest and most attentive people we have ever come across. 

Incredible lodge and stay

We had a luxurious one night stay at Chui lodge. Fantastic location and great views, The deluxe lodge is huge and we wished that we could have stayed longer to make the most of it. Also, we did not have enough time to make use of the swimming pool. Fantastic game drives and boat safari, and loved the sundowner. Food was average.

Luxury Lodge

We stayed 2 nights in Chui Lodge as part of a safari organised for us by Bush Adventures. This place was sensational. We were looked after perfectly from start to finish by the most hospitable and lovely staff - but for us, one particular member of staff, Zeddy -( I hope this is the right name) was exceptional. Our every need was catered for, she served us drinks and cakes at our lodge, she was back and forwards making sure we couldn't want for anything and her friendliness and conversation was lovely. Our time at Chui was outstanding. Firstly, the environment itself made it welcoming and luxurious. The lodges were beautiful and exceptional comfortable. the views and the seating areas were all perfectly thought out and positioned. Food was delicious, service was outstanding, politeness and attentiveness of everyone we met was superb. The perfection was also in the detail - hot water bottles in the bed, log fire in the lodge, seating areas where you could watch animals come to the water holes - absolute perfection. We will return.

Fabulous Surroundings and Accommodation- Wonderful Staff
Spent 4 wonderful nights at Chiu Lodge- an oasis of calm surroundings, animals, game drives with incredibly knowledgeable Bernard. All inclusive drives, visit to the lake with a wonderful guide, flower plantation and nearby bistro. 
We enjoyed sundowners all to ourselves overlooking the wonderful conservation area. All inclusive really is! Great food and drinks served in a beautiful lodge or outside with views of wildlife. The only thing not included was a massage in our chalet by Mary Magdalene- who was so fantastic. So reasonably priced as well.
We were so well cared for! Coffee brought to our beautiful chalet- turndown service with a hot water bottle!
Joyce took wonderful care of us- catering to our every need. And Eric was also so kind and set up our own sundowner our last night by the pool- which is heated!!
I cannot rave enough about the food, the service, the ambiance and the surroundings. The chef makes everything on site and the quality and variety were great.
We have been fortunate to travel all over the world , including Africa.. but this stay was truly outstanding.
If you are looking for something different in Africa - chose Chiu Lodge- for peace, quiet, great accommodation, food and outstanding service- do not miss Chui Lodge.

Fabulous Staff , Beautiful Surroundings- Truly All-Inclusive!

This was our 3rd visit to Chui lodge and we will definitely return again.  Each stay, Gilbert and his team have provided 5-star service from check-in to check-out.  Every meal is extremely delicious and made to order.  The staff are always present in case we need anything from extra toiletries to and additional meal selection.  The highlight of each visit are the sundowners where the kiddos get to roast marshmallows (and wine for the adults) and the night games drives where our driver spotted a leopard (Chui) for us.  Additionally, we look forward to the bush breakfast and the boat rides on Lake Navaisha!  There's never a dull moment here and always an activity available.  We highly recommend Chui and will be back soon!

Chui Lodge (5-star services)

What a lovely lodge for our family of 4. Ali our driver was amazing, we saw 3 leopards whilst out on game drives. He was fantastic with our boys and made everything easy. Our lodge was perfect for us 4, loads of space and huge bathroom. 
Food was okay, the restaurant had a fire so we were unable to eat inside. Eating outside was okay but the flies are attracted to everything. 
I had to request food to be cooked for my toddler, they didn’t offer. Kids menu would be a beef burger which will be served with salad and no chips - completely on its own and adult size. 
Swimming pool was good as it’s heated, towels provided! 
Staff were extremely attentive and friendly. They need more things for the kids, a box of jenga and a football isn’t really enough to class as child friendly.
