5 reviewsWhere to begin? Staying at Chateau Talaud was tremendous from start to finish. The chateau itself is perfectly placed — day trips to the places we wanted to see across Provence were easy, but close enough to Avignon that getting to and from Paris was a breeze. The chateau itself is magnificent - beautiful, impeccably maintained, and as comfortable as any place we've ever stayed. But you can find lots of clean, beautiful places to stay. So why choose here? One simple answer: Fabienne and Nicholas. These two went above and beyond throughout our stay to make us feel like part of their family. They were available whenever we had a question or needed something, but left us to our own devices when we needed some quiet time. I'm not sure I've ever experienced hosts that are more gracious and giving — they even made us a home cooked dinner one evening that was among the best we ate on our trip. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention Charlie, their dog, who provided a ton of entertainment (and snuggles). We would recommend Chateau Talaud to anyone traveling to Provence. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend there. Merci beaucoup, Fabienne and Nicholas, pour tout.
