Stay there on 12 July 2019 rooms are good but bathroom needs improvement as they are very old and need renovation room service is good but breakfast is average also they lost my booking for 27 July when I reach there they said you should have confirmed booking before coming kept on blaming us that you didn't call us where as I booked the room before leaving on 12 july there customer service needs improvement specially the lady at the reception

I had the pleasure of staying in Chateau Royal Hotel, Islamabad twice in August 2019 while making my way up to Baltistan for trekking. I was super pleased by the hotel’s staff and the Manager Mr. Rashid who took care of all my needs and made the stay very memorable. The hotel is walking distance from Faisal Mosque and some shopping centre called Centaurus. There is a park called Hill 
view beside it with running/jogging tracks and balance beams for exercise. The hotel itself has a cute garden suitable for evening tea/Chai. You will find many Bulbuls and Maynah flying around their garden. 
My room was pretty clean and spacious and had all the amenities including fast wifi connection. The hotel offered complimentary breakfast which was really good. I had parathas, aloo ki bhujia with many cups of Chai. I chose to stay for lunch one day and was not disappointed with food. I highly recommend the Mutton Curry if you decided to have lunch at the hotel. 
Most importantly I felt safe in this hotel. If you are looking for a comfortable stay in Islamabad, Royal Chateau Hotel maybe your best bet.

Fantastic Location, Fantastic Staff!!

I stayed for one night on 2nd Sep'2019. Overall stay was satisfying, however there are areas of improvement. First there was some smell in guest house which should not be there. Second there was no cooling in lobby and stair area which should be looked into.

Good location, and courteous staff

Everything was good. But even though it was paid for in advance, they would not give me a receipt or record of my stay.

I stayed at this hotel for around 7 nights during the end of March/beginning of April and from the moment I stepped into the premises was made to feel very welcome by all staff. My room on the ground floor was very spacious and offered good value for money with all amenities one could expect- very large and comfortable bed, TV, minibar, large bathroom, comfortable chairs, desk, excellent WiFi, laundry/room service available etc. All of the staff from reception, housekeeping, restaurant, laundry, porters were all very kind to me during my stay and always had a smile on their face. On one evening I unfortunately had an upset stomach, which I must add was not caused by food consumed at the hotel, and the staff could not have been more caring in making sure I was ok. The hotel is also well located and has a nice running track in a park directly opposite, perfect for anybody wishing to also carry out some exercise during their stay. I look forward to returning to the hotel on future visits to Islamabad

Very enjoyable stay at Chateau Royale

When  I was coming to stay here I couldn’t find any reviews, so I thought I’d write one to reassure future travellers. We were visiting Islamabad for a friend’s wedding, and they had booked this hotel for some of the visiting guests. It’s a very safe and friendly feeling guesthouse on a leafy side road of the main highway. We felt really comfortable and well looked after here and it was good at the price point it sits at- not the fanciest hotel ever, but certainly with all of the basics. There’s wifi which worked the whole time we were here, ensuite bathrooms with showergel, shampoo and soap. Beds are comfortable doubles and twins, and there are electric fan heaters for the winter months when it can get fairly cool. There’s a small tuckshop selling snacks and some basic toiletries. Breakfast is good- toast, jam and fried bread, eggs to order, and parathas and chickpea curry.  There is also room service if you don’t fancy going out, serving simple and wholesome food. Staff are very friendly and there is a driver who you can book to take you around the city- we found this really useful as we did not have Pakistani sim cards, so no way to call uber/careem. In all, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a well-priced guesthouse that feels safe and friendly.
