Where to start?! Firstly, the hosts, Karine and Adrian were absolutely brilliant throughout. Karine was extremely attentive and quick to reply to all of our queries via email. They keep themselves to themselves on the actual weekend but they're always on hand should you need anything. The venue is stunning. All of the rooms are large and attractive (great for those pre-wedding shots). All of the living areas are clean and tidy on arrival. The Lodge has a huge social area which is just superb. The rest of the grounds are fantastic, the courtyard is beautiful and an awesome space for welcome drinks as guests arrive. The pool is a good size - we got married in September and it was a little windy so it was cold when getting out but other than that it makes for brilliant entertainment for those staying onsite. The BBQ area is also amazing. We used it as our guests arrived on the Thursday as well as a post wedding BBQ on the Sunday, it was so simple and effective. We used the barn for our wedding meal which was beautiful and intimate, everything we wanted. The icing on the cake though is the chapel. Whilst we're not religious, being able to use the gorgeous chapel for the ceremony really set the tone for the day. We could not recommend this venue highly enough. We were genuinely upset to leave. We'll hopefully be back in years to come to revisit the venue that gave us the best day ever.
