An Oasis in a sea of concrete buildings!This place is perfect if you like traditional wooden structures with bamboo thatching set around a tranquil green courtyard with seats and hammocks, But it isn’t suitable as a party space so this should keep it as a place to read after a day doing adventure activitiesIt is just a short walk to the main section of town with key restaurants including a super popular vegan one but lots of excellent meat options if that’s your preference and directly across the road has excellent sunset views without hoards of Insta wannabes Note: the facilities are basic and a bit older, and the beds firm but the rooms are clean and the staff are wonderfulIt’s one of my top ten after 30 years of backpacking all over the world
