Centrum Savita

Together with another couple we stayed two nights during a weekend trip to Winterberg, which is only a 10 minute drive away (without traffic, it can get very busy on the route). We only decided to go on a ski trip a few weeks before and found that most accommodations where fully booked. Savita was one of the few places with availabilities and it is pretty good priced. We were only able to get single rooms, but for two nights that wasn't a problem. The rooms were a bit dated, but clean and equipped with basic things. Don't expect any more but the basics, you also have to make your own bed. You pay a small charge for bed linen, you have to hand it in yourself after your stay. Beds slept good, there were extra blankets if needed, but every room had adequate heating and its own bathroom with shower. Rooms looked out over the valley, which offered a great view in this winter period. The surroundings are beautiful anyway. Staff is very friendly. As this is a vegetarian resort, don't expect anything meat like at breakfast. There are enough other things to chose from. Wifi is only available on the first floor around the reception and bar. Please be aware: you can only pay with cash. Overall we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay, for a very reasonable price. The slightly outdated look didn't bother us a bit.
