Center Parcs Park Eifel

Following our stay, I wanted to provide a review based on our experience and include some details I felt it was difficult to obtain before we went. We stayed at Park Eifel mid-August 2024. We opted for a comfort cottage for 8 people and selected the All-Inclusive option. On arrival, check-in was slick...even more slick than we experienced a few years ago in a UK park! We stayed in cottage 449, which was about the furthest from the main facilities, which made it very peaceful. The cottage was very nice, clean and modern and spread across 2 floors. I cannot recommend the All-Inclusive option enough! details are minimal on the website, so allow me to clarify. You get buffet breakfast and dinner, both of which are on a 4 day rotation for foods around the world/europe. the food is of an excellent standard, to say the least! Lunch is either at the Market Cafe or the Baluba (indoor activity centre), where you select from a menu...be warned some of the portions are quite big and with buffet breakfast and dinner, you arguably don't need a full lunch. Also included is all your soft drinks, beer wine etc. No spirits, but the beer is very good! Then you have the following, otherwise paid for activities included. Bowling, bungee trampolines, badminton and table tennis, all of which you simply book at reception. You also get unlimited entry to the pool, for which you can come and go as you please all day. The staff are all very friendly and simply cannot by more helpful. We try to speak some of the language when we travel, but we are by no stretch of the imagination fluent! Nonetheless, all staff are very good at speaking English. The park is located in a wonderful region of Germany, amongst beautiful Woodland countryside. OK, it's not exactly tourist spot central, but if you drive 20 min or so, there's plenty of nice places. AND if you're a motorhead, Nürburgring is only 20 min away and was a surprising good afternoon trip. Oh yea, e-car hire is also another great-value option for getting around the park! If you want an easy, hassle-free holiday, I can honestly recommend!
