The Lodge was a fantastic place to relax and unwind. It was close enough to Rotorua to spend the days exploring the area but far enough out to feel like you we're in the middle of nowhere. The grounds and lodge are comfortably furnished and well maintained. The hosts were friendly, the only recommendation I could make is that they explore the Rotorua area a little more (if they get the chance) so they can personally recommend some local, less known attrations.
