I always return here with pleasure, very nice place, best cheese pie you will ever eat :) vintage rooms, beautiful garden, very quiet during the week, full of people in the weekend. Prices are low and food is very good. All the children are welcome.


We were at the end of two weeks driving around Romania's excellent historic sights and booked this hoping for an afternoon by the pool and just overnight before flying home. We should have stayed at least three nights. As a relaxing start to touring Romania or a relaxing end it would be perfect. Quiet location and yet within easy walk to the small village or lakeside combined with afternoons by the pool. 

Excellently run, good English spoken, very good food and very reasonably priced and a wonderful room. A large bedroom, a suite really with its seating area, and as it was room 1 also a balcony. Spotlessly clean, sat TV, air con, good WiFi all at a great price. 

And the pool area with plenty of sunbeds and a lovely garden is an absolute delight to spend relaxing time. We would definitely use if in Romania again, for longer next time.

Initial impression is not good due road in poor repair. Once you step inside the pool and the garden will make you think again. When you see the room you will be astounded. The room we had had a full size antique dining table in addition to the beds and there was still tons of room and that's not counting the balcany which overlooked the garden and pool area. The bathroom was huge with a spa bath and  hand held shower but with a wall fitting. However it is the host and the service he provides that set this place apart. Having arrived late from the airport Katalin had heated our room because it  was cold, served us a nice cooked dinner and an excellent house wine (Merlot). The price included breakfast and we enjoyed an especially good omelette. He also helped us sort out some uncertainty re our car hire. His English is excellent. At only 20 kms from the airport it is a very convenient first night stop and only a short drive to Snagov Monastery and Dracula's tomb.
