Great location but I was disappointed with the service and facilities. My both bedside lamps were broken, the power point on one side was broken, the locks on the doors to our rooms were difficult to use and the bidet in the toilet broke. I requested an extra towel at reception and was told I had to use my bath towel at the pool. My friend made the same request and was allowed to rent one for 500 francs. I was surprised that there was no complimentary wifi and that I was required to buy my own toilet paper and take the trash out when leaving.

Don't stay here. My worst ever experience I am affriad. Room stunk of sewage. We checked other floors and similar smell, so not just an unlucky room selection. In room facilities are sparse. No toilet paper. They instuct you to go to a shop to get some....a 15min walk. Will also need for dishwasher to get detergent. We moved to another hotel. Will ruin your holiday if stay here. Don't risk it.

I can only reiterate what Michael wrote in August 2023 and agree totally with his assessment.  My opinion is the location is fantastic, the apartment spacious and adequately equipped.  The balcony was perfect for alfresco meals with the most fabulous view.  We travel with carry on only so we bought a knife and some dishwashing detergent when we arrived.  We self catered some of our meals and were happy with the kitchen equipment and supplies.  
There is noise on Friday and Saturday nights till the early morning but nothing some earplugs would not fix or the place is not for you.
After some of the reviews I was very pleasantly surprised at the apartment and the location.

Great views but as many other reviewers have pointed out - the hotel is looking a bit tired !! Simple little maintenance issues like sticking cupboard doors, paint on skirting boards ( nearly every room) and cracked tiles etc give you the impression average is good enough. Staff are friendly & happy to help but getting an extra roll of toilet paper the only issue !

Having read mixed reviews on Tripadvisor, we were unsure what we would find.  We have returned from a great holiday, most of the negatives we had read were not our reality. The staff, despite the language barrier, were without exception helpful, friendly and courteous. A couple of minor issues were dealt with speedily - an English/French dictionary would have been helpful for communicating technical issues not covered by tourist phrase books! The apartment was huge, light and clean, if a little dated in places. Bedroom large, plenty of wardrobe space/hangers, and shelving.  Queen bed was comfortable, with quality sheets and a duvet.  Kitchen reasonably well equipped, with induction hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker, but were glad we took a good kitchen knife and a dish brush and dishcloths.  Bathroom was big, clean and no issues with hot water; shower towels/bathmat supplied, but take your own face cloths. The balcony was large and sheltered, with great views over the Baie des Citrons and lovely sunsets.  Clothes washing not a problem with a good washing machine and large clothes airer. Apartment was not serviced, so you are responsible for taking the rubbish out - not a problem. You have to provide subsequent rubbish bags, and also toilet paper.  At the end of the stay, you undertake to leave the apartment in a clean state - a broom and dustpan-and-brush is provided.  The building is in a good location, less than 2 minutes walk to the bus stop and Baie des Citrons beach, and close to multiple cafes/bars/eateries.  A small but adequate supermarket is an easy 15-20 mins walk away, also close to bus stops and an excellent bus service.  Food prices are pretty close to NZ prices, so no nasty surprises there. We had read one review on this site that said beaches were closed until the end of 2023 - this is not so!  The Baie des Citrons beach is completely open, while the Anse Vata beach is having work done along the promenade and small sections are closed, depending on where work is being carried out.  We were there during the last week of July and the first week of August.  Had a lovely holiday in an excellent location, and recommend the Casa del Sole as a well-priced and pleasant place to stay.

The location for its proximity to dining is excellent. Many choices just 2 minutes walk from the property. The location is also perfect for the beach as there is currently only 1 place where swimming is permitted in Noumea - just 5 minutes walk from Casa del Sole. The views are absolutely amazing. Aircon in the bedrooms worked well. As noted by previous reviews, there are no sharp knives so we took our own. When you check in it states that no consumables are provided - toilet paper (although there was a small roll in each toilet), dishwashing liquid, cleaning supplies and laundry powder. We took our own toilet paper but did not know about the other things. Someone had commented that the small grocery shop is no longer there but it is just to the left when you exit the main doors. They had a variety of basic food items, pastries in the morning and alcohol. The pool area was nice but just a windy location as it is not at ground level. Some information on the Expedia listing needs updating - there is no bike hire, no sign of a spa. The bus stop to town is 2 mins walk which was great. You can pay cash on the bus for a one-way journey - day passes can only be bought in town. Aquarium is 2 mins walk and Burger King is 3 mins walk. Casino supermarket was 15 mins walk (near the marina).We would stay here again but would ask for a room on the opposite side (facing Anse Vata) away from the restaurant music that lasts until at least 3am.

The apartments are very noise, you hear your neighbors.The were a lot of small annoyances, e.g. almost no toilet papers, no hair dryer, no tea towel etc.

This was an amazing place to stay. On the peak next to both beaches so whichever way wind blew you were sorted. Apartments are huge and as a young family this was awesome. Not cluttered and tidy. Yes a little dated but clean and that is more important! We Brough a knife and liquid it really wasn’t a bother. It was a very comfortable stay.
