We fell completely in love with this fabulous location, we had an amazing stay in this beautiful house vineyard, owned and run by Miguel and his family. Miguel was an amazing host, chef, port and winemaker, is there no end to his talents? We only stayed one night, and shortly after arriving regretted that we hadn't booked longer. Miguel catered for all the guests (15 of us in total) around one big communal table for dinner, with an amazing home cooked, traditional Portuguese feast. He supplied all the port and wine, all grown and produced by him and his family...and it was superb. The room we had, was spotless, characterful, really comfortable and utterly delightful. The breakfast, was included in the cost and was great...we were so very sad to leave. We would 100% recommend this vineyard stay to anyone wanting to explore the Douro Valley, and anyone who enjoys meeting and socialising with people from around the world (the night we stayed we had 7 nationalities around the table...it was glorious) or for anyone who wants to immerse themselves in home comforts, with a lovely family in the most peaceful and stunning locations.
