Cartagena de Indias Hotel

This place is both inexpensive and wonderful. Great price for a hotel with a balcony in Puerto Vallarta near all "the action." The hotel is centrally located in "old" Puerto Vallarta and most things of interest in town are within walking distance or near the bus stops; The malecon (boardwalk), Muertos Beach, the bus stops to Walmart & Sam's Club (which connect to the bus heading to Sayulita), the bus stop to Mismaloya beach, Palomares beach, etc., all are in walking distance. It's located on a safe street with many places to eat, cafes, bars, clubs, numerous Oxxo convenience stores, several small produce markets and a huge Guadalajara grocery store. The place is clean, safe, staff are always friendly. If you can snag one of the balcony rooms do so! Even though the ones facing the courtyard are good too. Free purified water provided so you can fill up your water bottle, a bonus! Fan no AC, but ventilation was never an issue. Did I mention it has a balcony to help cool off?!
