5 stars for this wonderfull BnB.  The rooms are spacious, quiet, beds comfortable,  decor verry beary🐻😍 The breakfast is amazing, bathroom is complete with nice smelling towls and shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. There is a universal phonecharger next to the bed and even a small nightlight and ventilator. Louise thinks of everything! 
Her two small dogs, Theo and Autumn are verry sweet and relaxed. They are not allowed in the guest areas. Louise gives great hiking and restaurant advice.

We stayed as an extended family group in the main house B&B and the cabin (self catering) which worked perfectly. Louise is a fabulous host with lots of advice and ideas of things to do. Stayed 4 days and could easily have spent longer. Hope to return.

A really wonderful experience to stay here with Louise. A very comfortable massive bed, great hosting, lots of good local ideas too. Lovely yummy breakfast too. A great Canadian welcome, lovely views across to the ski slopes too. I highly recommend it!

Our family (my husband and I and 2 teenage boys) had a wonderful stay with Louise at the Canadian Bear Guesthouse.  She is welcoming, accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area and things to do (i.e. hiking trails, white water rafting...). The house and property are immaculate and in a beautiful location.  We had a lovely visit with Louise and delicious breakfasts during our 2-night stay. Would highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed Louise and her guest house. She gave us suggestions for hiking, restaurants and places to see. The bed was very comfy, the room spacious and cool, and it was fun meeting some fellow guests from Germany. I highly recommend the Canadian Bear Guesthouse for anyone visiting Clearwater.

Beautiful property and great location, equipped with all we needed for a good night's rest. Short stay this time as we were passing through town. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Welcoming warm host.

We booked at Canadian Bear Guest house looking for a venue near Wells Grey Park. We are so glad we did!  The accommodations were excellent! Beautiful home with great amenities.  Louse was so easy to talk to and had lots of information of the area.  The breakfast was amazing as well!!  We will definitely be staying here again!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Canadian Bear Guesthouse with the new host Louise.  The Guesthouse is super comfortable with a separate lounge for guests.  There is a lovely sunny deck with views over to the Clearwater ski area and it is a very peaceful location.  Louise makes the best breakfasts which set us up perfectly for our hikes in Wells Gray Provincial Park.  She was really helpful suggesting places for dinner and Clearwater has lots of good dining options.  We highly recommend the Canadian Bear Guesthouse as a great place to stay and will definitely be back next time we’re in the area.  Thank you Louise for a lovely stay!

Constant attention to the property, even cutting the grass in the rain! Lovely breakfasts catered to your wishes (within reason), clean and well furnished rooms and even your own guests lounge with all the games and tv you could wish for.
This is a must stay destination in its own right if you are visiting Wells Gray PP.......if they had cooked meals we wouldn’t have gone out!!
There is a private cabin if you prefer something different to the guest rooms which are in the basement, although this is such a huge area, with kitchenette , that you don’t notice once the sun has gone down.

2 nights here - This is how all B&B's should be, Debbie & Morgan have a lovely home which is in a lovely quiet area, their hospitality is second to none. The rooms were extremely clean and very comfortable.

Debbie's breakfasts are amazing, especially the French Toast...They will set you up for the day to explore Wells Gray Park..

If you want somewhere to eat dinner, go to the Hog & Hop Smokehouse - Amazing food and beers.

Best B&B I have ever been to. Very nice accommodations. Debbie and Morgan are great fun people. Room is very comfortable with rec room to do your own thing {nice}
Breakfast was amazing home made muffins etc.  I would  recommend anyone who goes to Clearwater to stay at Canadian Bear Guesthouse. 10 out of 10

Amazing place to stay supper great people

My husband and I stayed in the separate lodge one grounds of the main house. Lovely log cabin, two storey with kitchen and bathroom. Super location just a stone’s throw from the centre of Clearwater. From there you can easily get up the Clearwater valley road - almost 70km of great views. 

We did have some maintenance issues so I cannot award this guest house full marks. If Debbie were able to sort those out, it would get top marks.

Good stay

If you’re in Clearwater this is the place to stay! The setting and accommodation are incredible, with guests having their own floor complete with coffee/tea, TV, sofas, a gym, and a beer fridge! 
Debbie is a fantastic host and makes an amazing breakfast, over which she provides great advice on things to do and where to eat. The little extra touches make this the perfect place to stay.
