Apartamentos Camping La Barguilla

Hi all. We are staying at this campsite now. It was such a joy after the long ferry trip. The setting is beautiful and it has all you need. It feels like your impact on nature is as minimal as it can be. It's tranquil, despite being quite busy. It's very beautiful as is the countryside around. The backdrop is absolutely stunning. There is also a restaurant and bar which have a traditional appearance and all the staff have been lovely and friendly and very tolerant of our lack of language skills. If your looking for hi-tech and modern and a landscape clipped to within an inch of its life then this is not for you but if you want to feel like you are part of the mountains then you will feel at home here. People are very respectful of one another so far. It was a little hard to find on the sat nav but was worth persevering. The washrooms are spotlessly clean despite being open to the elements and we have been able to do laundry for free! Restaurant and bar prices are very fair and town is within easy walking distance and is a lovely Riverside walk. All I would say is it's not really cut out for huge motorhomes but it's fine for small ones, vans, tents. We love it!
