Camping Brantome Dordogne Puynadal

Camping Far Ouest Brantôme, Dordogne, France is a super, friendly, family run, quiet campsite catering for tents, caravans and campervans as well as having mobile holes to rent. Shower/bathroom facilities are good, clean and have disabled access. Plots are large each with water and electricity. There is a good sized swimming pool next to the small bar which also serves pizza and snacks. There are children's play areas as well as a sports tent! Events are held on a regular basis - top quality music twice a week with a live soloist who sings a wide variety of styles offering dance music night and a welcome Apero Concert on Saturdays where a free Sangria is served. There is a small mini-fair with cheese, wine and craft stalls. A Country Music Line Dancing demo where paella is served; and other varied themed evenings. The campsite is in beautiful countryside and just an easy 5 minutes drive to the charming town of Brantôme. There is an equestrian centre next door where horses graze in the fields thus changing the landscape daily as they move around. Close by there is a goose farm where there is a restaurant open at weekends - which we will visit next week!
