Cagliari d'Amare

This hotel is an excellent location, just steps away from the train station. We stayed here one night in order to be close to the train to the airport. As mentioned by others, the building is quite old and the entrance at street level is undergoing some sort of renovation. This B & B is on the first floor. There is an old elevator that works but its one easy flight of stairs up to the rooms. We let them know when to expect our arrival and were warmly greeted by a guy in reception, maybe the owner, I'm not sure, but he was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice, newly renovated, bright with high ceilings, large windows and new furniture. The bedding was good quality. We had a very good sleep here. It is true that the rooms face a busy street but when the shutters were closed there was very little street noise. The wifi worked well for us, no issues at all. There was a small communal kitchen area where there was free coffee, juice and bottled water but there are many bakeries in the area if you want to eat breakfast out. A week before, upon arrival in Cagliari, we stayed at a B&B in the same building, on the same floor. It was fine, but I would say that this one was better value. The bed and bedding were nicer here and the free beverages and kitchen were a plus. The only con, I would say, was the fact that you couldn't put toilet paper in the toilet, as it was some sort of new ecosystem.
