A friend rented the room for me because almost the whole city was booked for fiesta. When i pulled up i thought how old is this place, but surprizingly the room was clean and while it wasn't a new place it has hardwood floors , looked like fresh paint, full size frige, yes it still had a older tv that worked just fine with cable and movie channels. The owners an older couple were very nice. Overall i was satitfed with it and would stay again.

Very quite area

My partner and I are travelling the US staying in cheap and budget motels....the cheaper the better. And mostly, they are surprisingly good - great deals to be had if you book via booking.com or hotels,com the night before. We wanted 2 nights in San Antonio and wanted somewhere cheap - this place was among the more expensive of the cheap places we have stayed but OMG, it was not flash. First, the stench of cigarettes was over powering. Next the filth on the walls that looked as though someone had spat food or phlegm. Cigarette burns in the dirty carpet. Smelly, holey linen.
A place being a bit run-down and tired, I can accept but there is no excuse be being plain dirty! No wifi either although this was advertised as being available.
However, no bed bugs! I know this because I looked for them; did see a couple of cockroaches though, but they are harmless.   So don't go there unless you are very cheap (like me) and are not bothered by your surroundings.

Really, the worst budget motel I have stayed in.

Had to stay 1 night because we were having work done on our house. went to get a room. when we entered the room the walls and carpet was FILTHY the beds sheets were stained! Prostitutes and drugs all over that place. Went to try to get money back wouldn't do it! Needless to say we left! They even had the nerve to ask my husband if he was staying for an hour! Who does that!!
