Bungalows Korana Campsite Korana

Lovely tranquil area very close to the Lakes, shuttle bus on offer for only $4. Bungalows are very basic and only have one plug outlet so I would recommend an extension lead if you have more than one requirement. We went in April and it was pretty cold in the Bungalows so would also recommend taking additional blankets. There is a restaurant on site and the food is lovely!! 

The campsite is fantastic with a shop, bar and restaurant all on site. Great views and very clean, well kept site. Staff are absolutely lovely too! 
Huts are small and cosy which is what we expected with a wardrobe, table and chairs and a little bench outside our hut. Perfect for a little get away and we loved them. No air con - HOWEVER not needed as the inside door can be kept open and still private and the same with the window. Really cool at night, even got cold and put a cover over so really no air con needed anyway!
Perfect location for Plitvice Lakes - 10 mins journey down the road max - shuttle bus runs every day to and from campsite which is free - leaves 9an picks up at 5pm. Always room for everyone. 

Really couldn't recommend this campsite enough. Everything was perfect for a couple of days here. Would highly recommend!! 

We stayed in one of the bungalows for two nights when we went to plitvice lakes. The bungalows are basic but clean and the beds are very comfy. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Toilet block was kept clean. 
The only thing we didn’t rate was the restaurant it was a bit poor. 
Shop and bar is well stocked and reasonable priced.  

Super cozy and nice camping place. The bungalows are warm and comfortable. The toilets are clean. The area is very tidy and you can park directly next to your bungalow. The breakfast was also very good. Only 10 min ride to the Plitviče Lakes National Park.

We were unable to find a vacancy at the park hotel so choose the campsite.  The bungalows are basic, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was nice. We did drive past it and had a bit of time trying to find the location. Nice that it is only about 10 minutes from the entrance of the park. The bathrooms are a bit of a walk from some of the bungalows but are very clean.

My husband and myself recently stayed in a bungalow at the campsite Korana for 3 nights whilst visiting the Plitvice Lakes. The location of the site is perfect for visiting the lakes and offers simple and cheap accommodation. The bungalow was clean and beds were comfy. We were close to the shower/toilet blocks which were also very clean. The site is big and offers nice views. We had a bed and breakfast package and were pleased with the continental breakfast selection. 
We enjoy the novelty of the bungalow but 3 nights was probably a long enough stay. 
The onsite supermarket was reasonably priced too. 
A small bit of advice would be to say that even in the high summer season the temperature does chill off on a night due the mountain surroundings.

The bungalow is in fact a small hut with only two separate beds, a wardrobe, a table and two chairs in it. For the bathroom you have to go to a separate, shared block. Our hut had a balcony and it was very nice and quiet. Breakfast is included, so it's really value for money. At the campsite you will find a restaurant, a burger stand, a pub and a shop. There is also an ATM and possibility to change money. It's an ideal place when you want to visit the Plitvice Lakes. There is a daily bus transfer to and from the park, for free.
