This is the worst hostel we have ever stayed in, don't be fooled by the photos! The beds were old and felt like they were going to break at any movement and the sheets looked like they were dirty and had holes in them. It was cold everywhere in the hostel despite one tiny little heater which the staff just gathered around. The staff were unfriendly (except for the American girl) and unhelpful and not flexible at all (we tried to get butter for our toast that we bought because their breakfast was pretty horrible at 8am and were told breakfast started at 8.30 so we had to wait until then). The bathrooms were horrible with very minimal warm water if you're lucky to even get water as often the taps just don't work. The entire place was dirty, mould infested and all round disgusting. I have travelled a lot so can put up with a lot when staying in hostels but this wasn't even bearable and left early. I certainly wouldn't recommend staying here!

Not Recommended!

A terrible stay in Buenos Aires. When we arrived we had to ask the staff several times to change our sheets (they had blood stains and dirt on them). When we woke up in the middle of the night we had bedbugs all over our bodies. When we confronted the staff/ the person in charge they confirmed that they had known the fact that they had bedbugs without shame. One of my friend got an allergic reaction and had to go to the doctor/buy medicin. 
One girl in the staff from Uruguay was very helpful.
I would not recommend anybody to stay at this filthy hostel.

BEDBUGS/CHINCHAS DE CAMA

I would really not recommend anyone to stay at this hostel. I stayed there with 3 friends in a private room for 4 persons. The cleaning was very poor and the room had bed bugs. The manager of the hostel knows very well about the bed bugs problem, and has no intentions to fix the problem. Do not stay here!!

WARNING: BED BUGS

I had a amazing stay at the Buenos Artes. I actually stayed there in June 2013 for ten days or so, maybe it was a good timing but staff was amazing, super friendly and relax, always helpful, I even get tatooed by Andres (a guy from the staff) !
I highly recommand this hostel, just go and live a great experience. And the place is so chill and inspiring !

Amazing place

Well, the room was okay, breakfast also. The staff was nice. The biggest problem was the bathroom, which wasn't clean. 
If you're looking for a cheap place, you can go there but don't expect too much about cleaness.
