Brooklodge B&B

My sister and I had a great stay with Noreen and her family. The location is excellent. It's set in a lovely, quiet, residential area and only a short walk to the town.
Noreen and her daughter couldn't have been more helpful giving us information about Westport.
The beds were comfortable, the room spotless, and the breakfast excellent.
We would definitely stay again.

Only a 5 minute walk from the centre of town.

Exceptional B&B.  rooms were comfortable and well-appointed.  Breakfast was excellent.  Hosts were very helpful and friendly.  Located in a residential neighborhood, only a short walk to downtown, Best place we stayed on our trip.

A very good B&B to stay in. That's in a great location. Everything is within walking distance. You have everything, ensuite, TV. WiFi plus a great breakfast. You can make yourself a cup of tea or coffee when you wish in your room. Plus the owner of the B&B is a lovely Lady. 


Hosts Noreen and Michael provide a wonderfully comfortable experience. The breakfasts were delicious and cooked to your request. The bedrooms were comfortable with the needed extras. They made you feel so special that you know you will be coming back to visit and enjoy all Westport has to offer.

Close to town and hosts Michael and his wife were wonderful hosts.

The family is lovely, as is their home. Breakfast was exceptional. Easy walk into town and access to grocers. Great location for Greenway bike ride too!

Fantastic friendly hosts. Breakfast was great with flexible options for choosy eaters. Bed was comfortable and the private bath was spacious and modern. Short 5-10 minute walk downhill into town depending where you’re going. Great choice for those looking for a quiet option and are willing to walk a little extra for it (we didn’t have a car so can’t speak to that).

We stayed at the Brooklodge B&B in June.  The hosts were lovely and very kind.  They made several suggestions to us during our stay.  Breakfast was ordered ahead of time and very delicious.   We highly recommend staying at this very nice B & B.

Stayed here for a couple of days in July. V well situated, walking distance to centre of Westport. Room was spotless, v comfortable & v well presented. The couple who ran it were extremely pleasant & v helpful. Breakfast was v good. When I visit Westport again, I will certainly stay here.

Great location. Great hosts.

We stayed at the Brooklodge B&B for one night as part of our Wild Irish Tour.  Our room was comfortable, but a little small.

There is a short walk into town, and the return walk includes climbing a fairly steep hill.

Overall, while we enjoyed our stay, and thought the owners were pleasant, there were a few things to think about.  For one thing, there is absolutely no shelf in the shower--no place to put your soap or shampoo.  There was also no clothes hook in the bathroom.  I think these issues could be resolved cheaply.

While the bed was comfortable and the room was very clean, there was only one flat pillow per person, and we both had sore necks the next morning.

Breakfast was good, and we did have several choices.

A homey experience in Westport

We spent one night here on our visit to Ireland. Michael was very nice and the room was nice as well. Shower was a snug fit, but bathroom was a nice size. Breakfast was very good with many choices. The walk from town up the hill to the B&B is a little bit of a climb, but after all the pints I welcomed the walk!!

Very Nice B&B

A lovely couple, a small, but charming room, DELICIOUS breakfast (she offered me Bailey’s for my porridge!! 😍), and conveniently located in a neighborhood right outside the active part of town.The walls were a little thin, but everyone was respectful of the quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable, charming.

We stayed in Westport at the lovely Brooklodge for 2 nights in mid September. The location is excellent being a pleasant walk into town for dinner at one of the many pubs and restaurants and sightseeing.
Noreen and Michael are a lovely friendly couple who make guests feel very much at home. Our room was very comfortable with beautiful  lace trimmed linen on the bed and very clean. The only downside was probably the size of the corner shower unit. It was very small but there was plenty of hot water.
Brooklodge is an ideal place to stay.

Very comfortable

Lovely home with wonderful hosts (Noreen and Michael). They are a short walk (10 min.) from the action in Westport. They serve a very nice breakfast in the morning. If you are a light sleeper request a room upstairs since in downstairs room you will hear the people above you if they are up and about early (as was the case with me).

The Reddington's were gracious hosts, with a very clean, beautiful home. Noreen made me feel very comfortable in the morning when I was feeling a bit low--she went out of her way to make me feel better. My daughter and I only stayed one night but I hope to stay here a few nights on my next trip to the area. The walk into town is quick and easy. Westport is delightful.

Great B & B

The host and hostess were extremely nice and helpful with tips on where to eat and how to get there. We were immediately provided with tea and cakes upon arrival as well as a map and directions to town which was much appreciated. The full Irish breakfast was great. The room was clean and comfortable. Short easy walk to town, restaurants, pubs, and shopping. Would certainly recommend staying here.

Irish holiday

What a lovely  warm welcome we got  when we arrived the owners where lovely people. House very nice really clean and tidy, bedroom nicely decorated very bright an airy we had a very comfortable stay here breakfast was delicious . Will definitely stay here  again. We had a baby with us and Noreen was very helpful washing bottles filling flasks etc...
