Idol Hotel

We have just returned from an exceptional stay at this quirky, little hotel. We wanted somewhere a little different and with super reviews we found it for our 1st wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and we had been emailing the hotel before we arrived for recommendations on places to visit and eat which they helped with. The staff were ALL friendly and welcoming. From the moment we opened our room door we were blown away, we stayed in the Blue Sunshine Suite which was absolutely perfect. So many lovely touches included a coffee machine, blue tooth speakers, a beautiful, deep bath which lit up, huge bed and a lovely dressing room with so much storage! The room had everything we needed. The mini bar was a nice touch, we didn’t use it but used the fridge for our own drinks as the weather has been so hot. Cleanliness is top of our list and this hotel is spotless! We stayed for 3 nights on the second day our room hadn’t been cleaned but to be honest it didn’t need it we just need some clean towels and toiletries which we asked for as we left on the 3rd day and on our return the room had been fully cleaned also. A lovely surprise. The hotel is situated perfectly to be able to get out and about as it is near metro stations and the train station with also bus stops dotted about. Use your phone to buy tickets which were so cheap and made it really easy to travel as you can just top up the ticket as you go. IDF mobilities app. A very quiet area away from the businesses of the capital but about a 25 minute walk and you’re in it. There are cafe’s and shops near by which we stopped at on the way back to the hotel for a cold drink before we headed out on the evening. We would definitely return for a romantic trip again, not with children! If you’re looking for a special place to make memories book now! We visited the main tourist attractions including the Eiffel Tower, if you are going to go up do it and go to the top! Worth every penny. Also go and see it a night time a spectacular sight when it lights up and flashes. Beautiful! The ferris wheel at sunset is another beautiful moment and photos are stunning! We also booked the Toot Toot open top bus tour with the river cruise, well worth it! A glass or two of champagne on the River Seine was a lovely memory. Loved our stay came for a get away from life to celebrate and we certainly did! Would 100% return! Loved it! Thanks from the Lomas’s x
