Apart from their excellent Weiss beer, I have struggled to find decent beer in Austria when I have visited. This brewery served an excellent lager, ale and stout. The food, too, was of a high standard and the portions very generous. It was refreshing to see a change from the usual 'heavy' fare usually served in pubs. Heaving with locals (always a good sign), the atmosphere was buzzing. Reservations for outside seating is recommended. Huge canvasses above the brewery and other premises on the High Street advertising a local art exhibition were an added bonus!
