Very cozy place, great view, clean and quiet.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Common room is open, airy and welcoming.

Loved the cabin and property. As described. Beautiful view. Great location. The only thing we would suggest was maybe investing in more plush towels and maybe a pair of robes to enhance the experience.

We were looking for places around Bar Harbor to stay, and this did not disappoint. It’s an hour away, but honestly, we liked it better than being in the town. The space was much higher quality than even the pictures show. Very clean, quaint, with great amenities and a view you can’t beat. Plus the owners send texts with recommendations and have an amazing guest book. We had everything we needed and more.

Very clean and cozy cabin. Host was very helpful providing me with local activities and dining options. Answered all my questions quickly with friendlinessDidn’t like that I had to leave.

This inn was SO BEAUTIFUL!!! The common area is so incredibly cozy, the rooms were so cute and homey, and the views were unbelievable. We stayed only 2 days but i want to come back for a whole week.

Amazing setting with a great view of the ocean. Cabin was in excellent condition, very clean with a great wood cabin vibe. The whole process of checking in was seamless. The staff stayed in communication and all we needed was the code for the door. Very comfortable bed, and a heater was provided which worked great. Would definitely stay here again.

Great small cabins with fantastic views. Good if you are looking to escape the tourist! Will stay here again!

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The view is spectacular. Wifi service in the cabin was a bit spotty. All communication with Bluff House staff was accomplished via text, I did not meet anyone on staff personally. The information and directions received were helpful and easy to follow.

Clean, quiet, private cabin with water view. I liked the ease of check-in (we were assigned a code to enter the cabin). We received assorted texts for special hikes, scenic locations and restaurants nearby which we found helpful. The only suggestion is to put a dresser and luggage rack (we had to put our bags / suitcases on the floor).  Could also use more hooks.  Overall,  a wonderful stay.  Thank you!

Quaint cabin that served our needs very well. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets while overlooking the bay and the use of the deck chairs in the morning while sipping coffee. Would have been nice to have a few more k-cups for the first morning, but cleaning staff did get us more for the rest of our stay. Our only complaint is that the access road into the property is badly in need of being graded or have the potholes filled, other than that, we enjoyed the area and the cabin very much!

Incredible views, spotlessly clean, comfortable room. I loved being able to walk to the shoreline through the forest. Serene and peaceful. The staff went out of their way to make sure I was enjoying my stay. When I asked for herbal tea but there was none to be had, the hostess went to the market and bought some for me. Another hostess provided a sheet of rainy day activities on a day when the weather was not cooperating. The location to the scenic loop, the charming shops in Winter Harbor, and the lovely places to eat made this a perfect place to stay.  It is a simple room, with no tv but it was very comfortable and very clean. Also, be aware that there is no elevator and only steep steps to the upstairs rooms. All in all a wonderful stay.

Loved the view from our cabin until another car came and parked next to their cabin, which was what they are supposed to do. Would have loved a small fire pit next to the cabin however, I’m sure it’s a liability issue. Because it is a self check in, we were unclear as to the use of the main building. I should have asked… The owners communicated some awesome points of interest, via text,  throughout our stay which was wonderful! My reason for 4 stars is it was a lot of money in my opinion.

Clean and spacious room. They could use some basics in the room, though, like hooks or rods for towels in the bathroom, a bit larger fridge, another mirror (the bathroom vanity is very small and the only mirror is above it - doesn’t work well for two) and an bed that doesn’t squeak each time one person rolls over.

We stayed in the Cranberry Room in the main inn, which was comfortable and spacious. The beds being across the large room from each other give a sense of individual space, ideal for friends traveling together.  The bathroom with shower was small but adequate. The wrap-around deck/balcony has a great view of the water and small islands below, and we had one of the most the most spectacular sunset views we’ve ever seen during our stay. Large windows in the common area of the inn also overlook the water. The host was easily reachable when we had a problem with the code on our door keypad at self-check-in, and also texted several great suggestions for places to see, local dining, etc. Great for a vacation destination or a weekend getaway.

Ocean view ( from far ) but still beautiful - nice cabins, everything included - BUT it said breakfast included when I booked from hotel.com , after I booked I was sent a note that there was no breakfast at the time of year I was going. I was a bit upset because I booked it to have breakfast included - all in all a good stay

Our stay at Bluff House Inn was cozy and relaxing. Self-check-in was simple with clear instructions sent by message, and the cabin itself was very cute and welcoming. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the whole place had a quiet charm that made it easy to unwind. The view was more of the woods than the ocean, but still beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast was basic with prepackaged items and hard-boiled eggs, but the coffee station was wonderful—we found ourselves going back several times just for that.On the downside, the cabin had no closet or shelving, only a small bench with limited storage, which made a week-long stay with two people inconvenient since we had to live out of our luggage. The Wi-Fi router in the room had a bright blue light right above the bed that made it harder to sleep. There are also no staff members on site, so if you need anything, you have to call a third-party number for assistance. While it worked, it gave less of a sense of security knowing no one was physically around. Our room didn’t have a microwave, though one was available at the main inn. The first night, there were no utensils or cups for the ramen they sell, which was frustrating, but by the next night, it had been restocked.Overall, it was a quiet and comfortable stay with a lot of charm, but with a few adjustments to storage, on-site support, and small details, it could be even better.
