The receptionist was nice enough to let me check in early before noon. The bed was clean and comfortable, with a reading lamp and two power outlets next to it. The elevator is great, it's not too common that a budget hostel would have one. Excellent location, just a short walk to City Square Mall/Farrer Park MRT station and Sheng Siong 24-hour grocery. It was in the middle of a renovation during my stay (there's no bar area, pool table or couches in the lobby). Bathrooms weren't very well maintained, they seemed to be constantly dirty. One of the shower cubicles in the 3rd floor already had a broken lock, and not enough hooks to hang clothes and towels. Hand soap bottle was empty for 2 days straight. Chaotic pantry area, seems too far from the dining area which is beside reception. Intermittent wifi connectivity at times. They charge $1 per bag that you leave with them for storage after checkout, every other hotel/hostel I've stayed in offers this as a free service.
