travelling solo might sometimes be challenging but not with people like Lu and Rijk ( the owners) and the places like Bliss Beach Lodge- all the time I felt very carefully taken care of but free and independent at the same time 🙏🏻 at the begging of my two-week-stay I got fully equipped with all the necessary help and info and through all my time at the island I could count on a friendly talk and advice❤️ the place itself is really cosy: clean, with all the facilities you may need, beautiful garden, not mention the spectacular views;) comfy sunbeds, tasty food, great drinks and really helpfull and dedicated stuff the island is just amazing as they say so its a must on every traveller's list ❤️ the people are friendly and joyfull- be sure everyone will try to help, its good to talk with locals and let them guide you as you may discover some new places, tastes and .... great friends, the beach is just a miracle- you can walk both sides, there are plenty restaurants with great food ( try a fresh octopus cooked in coconut milk - delicious!;) and cold beer, the ocean will cool and freshen you and the Masai people will lighten up your mood dancing with you and singing their tribal tunes ask around and try Konyagi - local liquor made of sugarcanes and mixed spices, you can get it in 100ml plastic sachets which are great for souvenirs summing up: Zanzibar is a true paradise and the Bliss Beach Lodge is a wonderful place to stay so dont think twice : just book your stay for the time of your life 😍
